spring over give what between6-7" lift, 2" lift in total is the regs for w.a un engineered and even with engineering lane change tests the max is like 150mm, so with the spring over your right on the max lift then what size tyres are u planning on running?

Yes Zoltan 50 mm is the max. Now the cops are fairly lenient on this and many get away with 100 mm but I think your lift will be like kicking a rottweiller in the balls when the cops see it:D

Some say it is still theoretically possible to have a SOA but with strict engineering supervision,eg by increasing the width of the axles to suit the height $$$
The engineering supervision is ongoing during the lift meaning stages of inspections:rolleyes:
I would consult someone 1st to see what it entails before you start the mods.
Im sure WC springs could give you some advice as they get updates from the traffic branch;)

So all the electric governors are only for fuel shutoff and fuel compensation? and not injection in any kind?

Do i need a computer at all?

Tanx for the speedy reply!

I think it may also look at the coolant temp for the glow plug system.
If it has an immobilser it will be connected to the computer.
The tacho may also go through the computer.
Also the aircon fast idle as it replaced the vacuum system.

Not sure about the fuel compensation,do you mean the HAC?

If you have a suitable earlier type inj pump, use that.
If the glow system is different ,use a manual type.

When I did my swap I went into car yards and looked at 1HZ engines and compared the years. There is not much differnce

Its been a a month or so, and ive done a few things.

I got the engine, straight bolt in little wiring needed
06 model 1HZ with 5k kms on the clock

I love a HZJ75 and 1HZ build up thread:D That body and chassis is looking extremely rust free and is a great start.
Zoltan ,do you have any good 750x16 tyres for sale and any 1HZ parts?
Im after a flywheel and the plate that goes between a gearbox and engine or maybe a complete dead engine if the crank is good

NAH and the 1hd ft and 1hd fte are different again.

btw what other parts is it missing? a mate from uni has a bunch of parts leftover from his projects. starter, alternator etc...

this is a list of his Toyotas alone:
HZJ80 with 6.5chev diesel
HDJ80 with factory lockers
BJ70 with a 1HZ
+ a 3B and a partial 1HZ

so he has too many toys!
