I reckon this thing will withstand 300 atomic bombs a 3000 foot drop and one supernova...

Will do!

Ive been rather sick the last week so not much work got done... and now im at tafe again...

cant wait for this Saturday, i can work on it again!

Stay tuned peoples!

sorry all, i havnt been able to touch the thing in agez.. ive been working away, im back for a while and then probably away again... one day ill finish it!

VERY SOON!

:( I'm really really interested in how it turns out.

I ripped my tray off my ute it's literally only got a sheet of steel on the back now and instantly got over 2 inches of lift outta the rear suspension and dropped fuel consumption by 2L/100km because I don't have the airbrake on it!

I really really want to see how yours turns out.

i know i know :(

im realy pissed off about not being able to do any work on her...

i REALLY REALLY cant wait till i am able to complete her

SOME PROGRESS!

  • Rear Hitch in place
  • Gusseted
  • Rear Shackle angle revised
  • Front Hangers in place
  • Front springs hung

The mating of the hitch to the chassis could not have worked out better, looks grouse and i reckon its plenty strong enough.
Changing the rear shackle angle was a sinch, air arc and a steady hand. Has made the rear end flex heaps more already.
The front spring hangers are tacked into position appx 2.5" - 3" further forward to allow the 37"s.

More work to come later i hope
