A little more exotic stew today. Wild boar and elk for the meat. Mostly normal additions except these are Okinawan Purple potatoes and added some fresh kimchi for taste.

Just a friendly bump to make it easier on you guys once the triptofen sets in tomorrow

Oh, And there were baked bird parts and tumeric potatoes here tonight. Really digging the crunch provided by a lil baking powder dusting on wings before the oven.

Sorry, but Wegmans made our food this year. I WILL, however, be the one responsible for using the leftovers (which is probably over 90% of the meal). I learned to never let my mom gauge order quantity ever again.

I worked most of the day on my laptop so did zero cooking. And then I had to play catch these hands at Walmart during black Friday because Andrea ran out of her sinus meds and was having a blackout migrane.... Fun times

No pictures (ate it immediately) but I made a cheese and ham omelette with sriracha on top. Ham bits were from the pinto beans and ham shank pressure cooking for family gathering tonight. Good and sweet Jesus, I love carbon steel skillets.

Up a long ladder and down a short rope.

Risked a foray into the Italian section of the pantry. Couple pans of Z last night.

Then tried my hand at hummus. Too easy and simple to alter. Maybe make a smaller batch next time.

If the virus don’t kill me this quarantine cooking may.

Figured there would be a spike in posts here based on "stuck at home" conditions.

My first cheesecake, topped with homemade hot fudge and caramelized sugar.

@jfz80 fir your hummus did you remove the skins or leave on? I’ve tried both ways and not sure if I can tell a difference to justify the effort.

I had read it makes little difference as well. I left them just as they were in the can. A quick rinse was all. They seemed to be about half missing anyways.

I've noticed a difference the few times I've peeled them but not enough to justify doing it again. And the difference could likely go away or increase depending something as simple as the model of food processor used.
