Don't let the lack of a food shot fool you...I decided to use the last bit of dry weather this morning to make breakfast on the Campfire (small Solo Stove). Bacon with scrambled eggs & ham. And that can? I assure you that was a breakfast beer.

It was pretty cool to cook over, literally, a couple handfuls of twigs.

I'm digging this vertical smoker. It's working out well. Naturally burns at about 250* and easily adjusted down to the 200-225* range. It gets about a 4 hour burn off a 2/3 filled basket. Maybe a couple modifications or two, but it's been working great so far this week.

Some quick and easy chicken earlier in the week...just rub down with some olive oil, salt, and pepper. 225* for about 2 hours.

Damn you @FJ Noob and @AJR - going to purchase a smoker tonight. Do my part to stimulate some economies (I feel like I haven’t spent much of any money lately).

Good stuff, I just finished smoking the Honey, Bourbon, Red Pepper bacon a little while ago. I didn’t take any pictures though, maybe when I cook it I will. I also smoked some bones and pork skin for the dogs, smoking is addictive they say.
