CECC off ebenezer church road. A friend is a member. I will ask about a visit. Coolest thing in there to me was a real GT40. They have work space in the back and bud built was installing some sliders on my friends 200.

@Matthew Spencer How do you feel that engine would do transplanted into a 40 series?
The OM616 is a NA 4 cylinder. About 64 hp and 100 torques.
The 617 would be much better for a swap. 5 cylinder turbo. 110 hp and 170 torques.
@GarnerFJ40 is doing that swap into a 55 and @addicted56 has on in his 43.

@lt1fire beat me to it. We had a 240 growing up and a 300d. Huge difference. Highly recommend the 300d. Also, the OM606 is an option.

The 606, is the best commuter car diesel engine out there IMHO. Its basically the LS of diesel motors.@lt1fire beat me to it. We had a 240 growing up and a 300d. Huge difference. Highly recommend the 300d. Also, the OM606 is an option.

Probably for sale. Has about 330k miles on it if someone wants the whole car for a swap candidate. I know where a 1999 is as well.
