Anyone got any exciting pot luck contributions to talk about?

Everyone got their Santa gifts wrapped up and ready?

Got your reindeer antler hats and elf shoes shined up?

I’m not sure when I can be there - but I hope to be there for most of Saturday. See you all soon!

Does any wood need splitting? I can bring my wood splitter Fri or Sat. Let me know

Got my kitchen pass yippee! Dog sitting included.
I'll be up there solo NLT Friday.
I'm stoked now.

I'll be there sometime Saturday morning, just me and Jackson. Undecided whether we'll stay the night or take the red-eye home. Depends on how this chest cold progresses.

my understanding is that we have enough for the Christmas party but probably not for the M&G. With the trail workday and the HAMOM action going on we might have to plan another woodcutting/splitting day in the near future. I'll let Kenny speak to that though.

Hello Kurt,

I have spoken with Uwharrie staff today about having a volunteer workday on this coming Saturday (December 7th 2019). I will unfortunately be unavailable that day. Mike Beck has agreed to work with your group and will meet everyone at 9:00am at the Uwharrie Hunt Camp parking lot, which is on the corner of Reservation Rd. & Moccasin Creek Rd. We do not have any major projects in the mix that we need assistance with but there is one small project we could use some help with. We have a newly discovered, unauthorized primitive campsite on a timber unit along Moccasin Creek Road that we need to block off from future use. We plan to install bollards and signage along the road shoulder that will hopefully deter visitors whom choose to not tread lightly. Once that project is complete, Mike Beck will provide garbage bags for a final trash sweep along the OHV trails. This will be a self-guided cleaning spree along OHV trails/trailheads and OHV parking areas (ex. Wolf Den, Flatwoods, Art Lilley, Dutch John). After the garbage is collected, please feel free to use any of our garbage dumpsters (Arrowhead Campground, Badin Lake Campground, Badin Lake Group Camp, Canebrake Horse Camp).

Please pass this message along to folks in your group or anyone else that is interested in participating. Give me a shout if you have any questions or if there is something else I can help with.

Thank you!

I’ll be headed that way when Isla gets out of school at 2:30. Plan is to pick her up and hit the road. Google says 7 hours from my house. Be nice to arrive to have the nightcap with @jimsmith1370
Your location says Chapel Hill. Shouldn't take 7 hours from there ;)

I’ll be making my way up after work Friday

I will bring some wicks for lamp oil bottle candles, like tiki torches on a table.
Anybody that brings appropriate bottles, premium liquors for example, can have a few.
I don't drink and I don't feel like bar crawling for bottles.
Wide bottoms work best especially on the ground.

The plan is, subject to change based on the hospital situation, to bring a big crock pot with baked beans. Plan to be there after lunch on Sat and will be bringing at least two new members in tow. I really need to get away and have some adult company.

We cant wait to see this filled with our ONSC family.

Gate is dummy locked and water and power on. Anyone that wants to come early is welcome. Bring extra clothes for the kiddos because the creek is a magnet. Also, those bringing dogs, please clean up after so we don’t get :poop: in our boots. The leaves can hide it right now.

Lydia is bringing Brunswick stew. 🍺

If someone needs a 315-75-16 spare tire. Let me know. I can bring it to the barn.

FREE.

It doesn’t have much tread left. This was free to me from another member but I no longer have 315s so I no longer need it.

The Osunas may be coming. If we do, we should be there Saturday around noon. Definitely not spending the night.

I wonder if any of them will be bringing 470 jack stuff? That would make a great present for the guy who looks just like me!

Who all is going tonight ?
