Y'all are welcome at my place anytime. Come see me and the Turdle!

As for a meeting (drinking) spot in Matthews...well...not sure. The Ballantyne area has several good spots that would be fairly convenient to most anybody, Matthews folks included. Midwood Smokehouse has opened a new location on Johnston Rd near 485. It's where the old Sticky Fingers used to be. I have not eaten at the new location but the one on Central Ave has some of the best brisket I've ever tasted.

The new one is just as good, and closer to home :)

...but deep water starts really suck.

Watching this vid makes me love my 2 smoke ring-dinger even more. One fall in that water and a 4 stroke engine would be trashed. With a two stroke, pull the plug out, kick it over a few times to clear out the water and go back at it. It makes me sick to see all the big time motocross guys running four strokes. The rise of the four stroke was artificially supported by libtard political and economic motives. Two strokes pack twice the power in equal displacement and are cheaper to build and maintain than 4 strokes. Bring back the 2 stroke, AMA!

Rant over. Really cool video BTW!

Love me some Midwood Smokehouse. Ate there last night at the Central Ave location. In addition to amazing bbq, they have some of the best banana pudding ever.

Central Ave location.
Keep going toward town, past Midwood Smokehouse, to the Mediterranean place on the right just past Salvation Army. It's at a 5-points intersection with Louise Ave. Norman Sound is across the street. Very good pizza and some decent Med cuisine. I never thought they truly knew what they were trying to do there but it all works. Intermezzo, I think.

Also pay a visit to the Diamond Restaurant near Common Market. Nothing fancy, lots of variety, fair prices. The burger/chicken section of menu is from the famed Penguin that was next door. It was on a few TV food shows before the owners booted the guys responsible for the success so they then bought the Diamond while the Penguin got run into the ground by the owners.

The Dish on Thomas Street is pretty good too. I love their chicken and dumplings. Always served with devil eggs and biscuit with honey. Yum!

I'll have to check out Intermezzo. I do like Mediterranean food. Not a huge pizza fan (unless it's cold served with cheap beer)

That sounds amazing. Will do.

OK, so I am a little behind on current events, I am sure the statistics are out there, but I'm not looking.
Anyway, I digress. On to the quiz

What is the greater number?

The number of candidates in the Republican primary

The number of women accusing Bill Cosby of sexual misconduct of one kind or another

Bristol needs a hat from Bristol Motor Speedway. I will procure one there next weekend for ya ;)

LOL Sam, not sure if she would wear the hat. She is getting accustomed to the glasses. My Black Lab Gus would walk around with them on and only got bugged if the croke <sp> got tangled on something. Funny as heck watching a dog riding in an open CJ7 with sun glasses on

This brings back memories and then some

Al, I can only imagine. My first thought was buying up bikes like that at 5 in a lot and how much fun that would have been.
