A few parts fell off the LX today.

Things I never imagined I’d hearing during my marriage:

Wife: Is it possible for you to figure out a way to add a second battery to the Landcruiser?

She's a keeper!

A new addition to the family. Edward, he is 10 years old. Good brained guy for sure, saw him around chickens, Lamas, pigs, kids and other horses and never lost track of what he was doing with a rider.

You know, because the other horses are just yard art, this guy can actually be ridden ;)

Heather (Wife) also wanted a 2nd battery for fridge on the 4Runner!

Kind of a quick put together last weekend.

The open + lug is waiting on a single MBRF fuse terminal on the 2nd battery coming tomorrow. (vs the double I had on this last week and removed today).

This sheathed double wire was nice to put down from front to back. Was concerned about going down a gauge to 8 on the 4runner with it, but after receiving, was impressed with the quality of the wire itself.

Amazon product ASIN B00MI5NOCG
Slid easily through the fire wall grommet and back along very large wire keepers under the floor trim - so nice to run wire, but good to have the sheathed line as well.

Gen 1 4Runners....
had a Top Gear few moments this past week with an 85 4Runner. It was dirty, but started and everything worked on it. We decided to use it as a stage vehicle, meaning stuffing it into very precarious conditions requiring winching recovery. The first place was a really nasty hill, but after doing some "securing" of it, the students just drove the damn thing up the hill. Lots of open jaws... This repeated a few times with similar effect, that thing is just awesome....

Get out there and VOTE!!!

We were there at 6:50 this morning, already a line. Out the door at 8:20. Usually we drive up, there are a couple cars, go in, register, vote and we're gone. Amazing turn out for sure, great to see so many getting out to vote.

Voted early last week. my wife early voted too, having our daughter drop off her ballot.

Gives us both the right to complain, no matter who ends up in various offices

Seriously considering going dark again until tomorrow. I made it until Wednesday night 4 years ago and remember the sudden shock of reality being far more palatable than following the results constantly on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'm staying off of the book face for at least a week. People are only going to get weirder and nastier after today.
