i'm sure he is.... didn't know who it was at the time I was just talking to the guys at metal tech about seeing their black GX in seattle and they were saying it must have been when Andrew was shooting his show up here. Wish I had known at the time it was him i'd love to have tracked him down.

I really enjoy his shows and follow him on Facebook and Instagram something that I really enjoy is that he communicates with his fan base I've seen many times where he responds on his Facebook or youtube videos. I responded once about a trip in Africa he did and he responded very quickly to my question which I thought was impressive.

I hope so it is something I am excited about the move to Phoenix I have been to Expo East its cool for the day but West looks amazing. The off-road opportunities look awesome as a whole out west and Copperstate Cruisers seems to be an awesome club as well.

Seeing some of these metal plates for molle type bags made me think of the old racing window nets. Of course I had to give all my old ones away, but order a new one for around $20. Will see if I can finagle a way to get it behind the seat and hang my crap from it. These are very strong, fire retardant (duh), and relatively inexpensive. Will report back if successful.

this was a week ago 2 blocks from my office right outside our corporate office.

This is one Lambo that wont be in the next rally.

Not sure what year Lambo that is, but I do remember 10-15 years ago going to VIR with Ferrari Club, and the lambos would run all morning an park in the afternoon. When I asked one of the mechanics (from Greensboro Lambo shop) why he would show me all the leakage, every fluid leaks after some hard lapping and they would park them to avoid the embarrassment. Not sure if VAG ownership fixed those problems or not, but one of their biggest fears was oil drips on the cats, and kaboosh goes the lambo.

That would be an extremely rare instance where VAG improved the reliability of something

Long been wondering about vehicle name themes....

Chevy has the Volt, and I think a Bolt? When will they come out with Dolt, Molt, Jolt, LOLt, and what will be the distinguishing features of these cars?

Ford does that common first letter thing: Focus, Fiesta, Fusion, Flex for cars; Escape, Excursion, Expedition for SUV's. What names starting with E and F do you think they have in the pipeline? Perhaps:
  • Flatulenza, the new standard in Sunday cruising for incontinent old men. Naugahyde bench seats front and rear, analog gauges, no mirrors except passenger visor vanity. 12mpg V8 putting out 136hp / 152 ft. lbs. Class-leading trunk capacity.
  • Elephantine, a stretched Expedition with dual rear wheels and a tuned EcoBoost V8 from the Flatulence that puts out a whopping 177 hp / 212 ft lbs.
  • Embryo, micro-CUV with 3 wheels (2 front, 1 rear), seating for 2.5 people, 40 mpg - finally, a Smart car killer!
  • Foshizzle, the crossover for the tragically hip suburban gangsta, as featured (in concept form) in Skanky T's video for the international hit song "Grrlz On My Shizzle (Don't fxxx with my teefs)". Rolls outta the showroom on 24's; interior ceiling is a customizable holograph tuned to your beats; driver's seat perfectly positioned for Detroit Leaning without any of the side-effects (for example, no wracked vertebrae); and a custom shelf in the rear window to display your "NY" hats.
With Fiat owning Chrysler, I read an article that they are going to transition Chrysler naming to Latin colloquial. Their remaining cars will be rebranded the Purgamen, Stupidus, Junkae, and Mortuus.

Have you guys heard of others?

Pretty good weekend. Cars and Coffee Saturday morning followed by a great show by a F22 Raptor and the Blue Angels at our friends place on the lake, then the hydroboat racing that I didn't get any pics of due to phone dying. Sunday was a lazy day at the apartment but still got a great show by the Angels.

No pics of the boats or cars and coffee... I'll try to get some off my buddy to post

Did see this R34 in the local grocery store parking lot.

My buddy Brent Hall raced in the hyrdro race, finished 3rd.

So is there any question, judging by the chosen pics, which way BBC News leans in the N Korean nukes story? This kind of media crap really started hitting the fan at the end of GW's era. They'd run a pic of person s***ting out of their mouth (ala Southpark) every time, if it were available, while their chosen side smiles and farts rainbows.
