Stopped in to see Kurt and Bryce at Cruiser Outfitters today while we are out in Salt Lake this week. The temps have been between 50-70 degrees so skiing after around 2pm is like being in mashed potatoes. I broke two free wheel hub assembly bolts by over-torquing them so I got 12 new ones (really just an excuse to stop by). Here are some pictures of their setup.

Anyone have a Fedex/UPS/DHL account and can hook me up for discounted tire shipping? Going to run by Fastenal to check their prices too.

is his shop in a neighbor hood?

The "shop" is at his house with a steel building out back. It was a really cool setup actually considering the space restriction. The only thing I would add is a two post lift.

anyone in Boone able to go look at a car for me?

upping the ante on the monitor gamesmanship. One of our VPs is now using this 34" 21:9 aspect curved monitor instead of dual 22's. You can run as one continuous screen or in dual monitor mode. Just under $1K

I just got a 21:9 ratio - 29" didn't bother with the curved.

It's super nice, 5" smaller than that one - made by LG - and only $300

Anyone have a rhino rack sunseeker awning?

Wanting to get a pic of zipper setup.

Any thoughts on the Celica GT - 2001 model.... Engine by Yamaha, right?

Any reliability issues? Things to look for?

Car I'm looking at has 115k miles - if this was a Toyota motor, I'd have no qualms.... Anyone have any feedback on that?

From Wikipedia:

"The Celica came in two different models. The ZZT230 was powered by a relatively economical 1.8 L 4-cylinder 140 hp (104 kW) 1ZZ-FE engine and the ZZT231 powered by a higher-performance 1.8 L 4-cylinder 192 hp (143 kW) (in Europe and Japan) 2ZZ-GE version, co-developed with Yamaha, the latter featuring a two-step variable valve lift control in conjunction with its variable valve timing."

Toyota Celica - Wikipedia

I did a bunch of research on the 7th Gen Celica as a DD a few months back. The GT had the 1ZZ and the GT-S has the 2ZZ.

I am not quickly finding it, but the 2000 2001 had some issues, but not sure if major or not. Something to look into. I will look more tomorrow.

Thanks for that! It's a 140hp motor. Am I understanding correctly that 1zz is an all Toyota motor? I'm imagining it's just the heads that are Yamaha in the 180hp version?

1997 SC 400

I like these for some reason.
Two of the techs at ACC drive those. One is turbo'd. I haven't taken a recent pic, but here's one with the engine/trans out so the transmission could be serviced. He powdered all the metal bits peacock blue and finished with a matte black plasti-dip over the black paint. He rebadged it with JDM "Soarer" emblems too. I'll see if I can get a shot this weekend.
