ok... rant on Calling Griffin Thermal Products out on some utter bull****
I called to ask how to proceed with a warranty claim seeing as how my 8 mos old radiator is leaking between the core and the tank.
Well Pam was only able to inform me that they do not warranty that radiator because it is not a direct fit model.
Well guess the **** what pam? read the warranty. Especially line 1.

Now evidently my model 1-55202-x is not a radiator but just a finned fluid cooling device
Her actual verbage was "honey we dont warranty racing radiators" Yes ma'am but this is not a racing radiator...

Aluminum RADIATOR. Exactly, so line one comes into play, do you not warranty your aluminum radiators???
OF course we do, but that is not ...... (Interupted here).... This is not an aluminum radiator???
Well yes but ...... so you dont actually warrant your aluminum radiators?
We do, but only direct fit models. Not custom units. WTF pam.... page 5 please.
We cannot help you sir, i can provide you the direct fit model number for a 77 fj45 to purchase that we can offer a warranty on.
No thanks, if you can't warranty an
aluminum radiator as your warranty claims I have no confidence or desire to buy anything else from you.
Im sorry you feel this way. well im sorry ive wasted 300 dollars with you , how bout you change your warranty to indicate that you dont warranty your aluminum radiators, because, you know, thats what line one says, and thats what i bought from you.
OK ill tell management to change the warranty, have a good day. OK pam..... but if i was having a good day my radiator wouldnt be garbage.
(gonna call this as BS too until i see it)
I was extremely polite and asked to speak to management and was told she is capable of handling such claims and it simply "is what it is" just out policy. (ET moment of wanting to reach out and touch someone here)
