I can't figure out why that in my first year production (JDM) 80 series they AC drier is tucked up inside high by the rad, and then in the North American markets they drop it down there for a big target.....

Simple. In Mr. T's lexicon U.S. Market 80 = Mall. Rest of world market 80= Trail.

Nice shop.

Vehicles with the dryer up next to the battery are R12 units up until May 1993 production.

Post-May 93 R134 units move the dryer down behind the bumper, presumably to move it away from engine compartment heat.

Bumper is looking really nice; I like the lines, the minimalistic approach and the ground clearance. Are you going to cut away the sheet metal that hangs down below the wings? Let me know if he wants to make any more of them?

sorry, trouble getting my iphone to work...theres more metal coming to protect further down but it still looks'low profile', no cutting factory sheetmetal, just a bit off the front/bottom corner of the frame rails...ill have some more pics shortly...

not sure the rules for advertising on this site so ill just give out the contact info for the shop and let you guys get ahold of them and respect the ih8mud management...

everything hes cutting on the plasma table is saved on his harddrive so these can be reproduced multiple times for anyone with an 80...hopefully ill have nearly finished pics by the end of today for you. he is definitely willing to make more of these hes sortof a jeep guy, but i believe my landcruiser is wearing on him:D

im trying to make sure i respect this sites advertising rules, so contact them if you need anything or have questions, etc

i dont think i posted this yet? he mocks these up outta .065 plate and then when hes happy, they get cut outta 3/16s and many of them become one piece instead of the multiple paralellograms during initial fitup
