I am so tempted to buy, but I can’t travel as my dog is too old to be left or to come along. If it were a BJ the money would be on it’s way regardless, I need to know more on the F, here our fuel is 10% Ethanol, that scares me with a new engine but even more one that is not designed for this horrible s**t through it!

I've never had any issues with corn fuel even after the 2F got rebuilt which isn't that many miles ago. The only problem is if you're not going to drive it regularly. Then you'd want to run non ethanol fuel and definitely avoid the cheapo supermarket pumps or you'll get some clogging of the lines and filter. I only drive mine about half the year so I garage it with name brand gas and a fuel treatment. I've stored my 40 on several occasions for up to two years with non ethanol fuel and a shot of fuel preservative. Started right up and I drove it 500 miles to my new home.

Sadly the Atlantic is in the way… yes I’m in the UK We only have E5 Super and E10 Regular fuel now.

Just a quick question before your rig is sold and you forget all about it...

What's the little filter thingy on the left side of the VCV? On US models there's a line from that port to the air cleaner to allow valve to actuate freely. Not that it matters - there's no vacuum needed. Is it an ROW spec component or just something you added with your non-stock air cleaner?

P.S. - Good luck with the sale.

Yep it’s just the vent cap from a VSV, since the ROW air cleaner doesn’t have the provision, i just vent to atmosphere.

That’s @The Machinist - but between the two of us we’ve got plenty of projects

No marriage for me - that requires commitment and I can barely commit to one car.
