Spot welds are fun. But the feeling when the part just falls off after you hit the last weld is even better.
Yes, I bought the SEM seam sealer that "3 days" post used. I also bought the gun, so I can let you borrow when you get to that point. Cost more for the gun than the product as usual.
I will scuff up stuff, shoot the epoxy primer lightly and then shoot on the building primer. I bought the harbor freight prime gun that you told me about. Anyway, let it dry overnight then block sand.
On the interior, I will just light epoxy for adhesion, then spray bedliner (raptor tintable). I will also shoot the top of the tunnel cover, the toolbox lid under the seat, and running boards.
I just ordered all the paint and raptor tint yesterday, so this week will be like christmas.
Thinking about making a paint booth like yours in the back corner of my shop. Need to move the 78 fj outside I guess for a few months.
I got the empty quart paint cans and filled them up with POR 15, so I am about ready to do the courier service. Any day this week would work for me. I have Boy Scout popcorn ( and tons more if anyone locally wants to support local scouting), buckets and tub from demo, POR 15. Am I missing anything? Seems like I am.
