Dang, this is going to take the fun out of trying to torment you into buying one.....

Na, it will just make you want one for your self even more!

Hey jp I'm going to be sending a batch of stuff to the plater at the end of the month. If you get that thing stopped and then parts cleaned I'll thow it in with my stuff.

OK, lern me somethin' JP....what's a SD40 and offy?:hillbilly:

well dem dere SD40's are the early asain single barrel carbs that came on cruisers up until '67, they are few and far between as a result of the introduction of double barrel carbs in the 70's when most were chucked in favor of the dbls

the "offy" is an offenhauser manifold that was a 60's aftermarket upgrade for cruisers that allowed you to run two SD40 carbs thus making you cruiser a hot-rod :grinpimp:

I am not allowed to have anymore cruisers until Mary Ellyn gets her baby:bang:

Hold out man, once she gets a baby you still arent getting a cruiser because you'll have a baby to deal with. At least holding out neither of you gets what you want.

Was pumpkin offered on LV's in this vintage? A pumpkin and white LV would look sweet.

Jeremy

Unfortunately I don't think pumkin came around until sometime in the 70's..... plus my pops has his mind set on going back to the origianl paint scheme which appears to be blue:
