1998-2007 Lexus LX470 J100 Custom Real Leather Seat Covers (Front)

Lseat.com they have the fronts with arm rest for $299 for the set... looked online and see good reviews... anyone here used them?

These are for the wifes lx470 my 1998 LC had new new fronts in it when I got it... you can tell it was custom done at a shop... they did a nice job with very heavy material (thicker than stock leather) hell might be horse or buffalo for all i know... it was done in Texas so who knows...

just looking for anyone who has experience with these vendors
thanks

I have them on a 2000 LX. Went for a two color scheme. Workmanship is good, delivery was a little slow (shipped two days past their delivery timeline). Leather grain not an exact match to OEM, Leather quality not as good as OEM, but given price I think a very good deal, and I would buy them again.

Are you going to do the install yourself? I have some hints if yes.

Will be installing Land Cruiser Heaven leathers in my LX470 in a few weeks. Stay tuned for a full write up

thanks yes I will be installing them... and tips are very welcome....

I'm not unfamiliar with upholstery, I was sewing convertible tops when i was 15, and have done several boats, coaches, ect... I have all the stuff (walking foot machine, steamers, ect) to actually sew them myself but I have never worked in leather and don't have a leather plane, and for the $299 I doubt I could buy the materials and do much of a job compared to them... I might see if i can get enough extra material to do the console,

thanks and do you by any chance have pictures of yours?

Do you have any pictures of the installed covers? Very interested in how they turned out and are standing up.

On LCH's website, they do not appear to have any leather covers for the 100. Are you gaining access to a demo product?

Good, the steamer part is what I was hoping to hear you say. I installed some new foam and reused some old and was in a big hurry to get the truck rolling again so I didn't steam - and I'm sorry (but not enough for a do over).

Pics from the gallery of the chairs out in the house the night I recovered and just before reinstalling them. I think you can see what I mean.

Recover

I need to order some soon as well. Anyone know what installation would approximately cost? Don't think I can pull this off myself.

Sorry for the hijack.

thanks for the pics./ link the seat bottom are the only thing that shows wear on our LX, I have an extra car for her to drive so I can take my time and try to do a good install... it has to look better than the cracks

Let me know too, still looking

Any updates?
I am looking at an LX which appears to show some wear on the front driver seat and armrest.
Id love to just replace them as everything else looks as new.
What kind of shop do you even take these to for an install????

Just a regular car upholstery shop?? Sometimes the obvious is too obvious... Sorry guys

May look at carpet as well as there are two areas which look pretty nasty but everything else is beautiful. Hopefully I can close the deal and get this one. Black with tan. I really wanted the gray with gray but oh well...

That's what i did, took it to Timberline Auto Upholstery in Colorado Springs, they replaced my seat bottoms. Looks good, cost me about $300 per seat all totaled. Might be a little high but was worth it to me.
