You can drive cars on the HM trails? I've never seen a car on them and I've been probably 20+ times.
I spoke to the lady who ran the office for permitting and she informed me that full size vehicles are allowed on Bear Wallow (the one I went to), Cabway Lingo, and Big Branch systems of HM. The rest of them are restricted to ATV’s, 4 wheelers and the such. It was tons of fun. Highly recommend.

Hot out there today. Missing that fresh cool air of the west.

It is on ford ranger springs up front with chevy 63's out back(I think) IT HAS AIR CONDITIONING. Its on 40 inch Pro Comp Xtreme M/T2. It will still do about 60mph down the road.

Then realized I still needed a truck. Picked up a 07 Ram3500 with the 5.7. It has 343k and just had its third motor installed. Should serve me nicely for years to come.

It’s been a while since I posted, but a friend of mine is getting rid of his LX450 (It was mine for a few years before he bought it from me). I tried to buy it back but I decided to go with a 2000 LC instead. It is a solid rig and I wish I could have both. Just trying to help him out. I think he is wanting around 6k, but I will double check.

1997 LX450
275K
2.5 OME Lift
PHH was done by me (I hated that job)
305-70-16 Mickey Thompson tires
Windows are slow, but everything else work well I believe (drivers side motor is newer)
Shifter lights on the dash WORK!
Shift smooth
New CAT, Master Cylinder since he has owned it
I replaced the following at 260k (PHH, Differential Fluids, Greased the Birfs, new brakes all around, new rear calipers, replaced AC condenser, New Radio with Rear View Camera, New Speakers all around, Off road bumper on the back, New HD radiator and fluid, old Toyota Rad worked fine…just really old. Since I was doing the PHH, I did it all at one time and flushed with new all green fluid, New Spark Plugs and Wires, New Valve Cover Gasket)
I don’t remember any rust on it, good frame.

The Negative: It has a salvage title from a 2011 (bumper and passenger fender replaced, due to high miles it was too much for the insurance to mess with). NO Frame damage and it was marked as a mild/medium on body damage report. All of that was replaced and fixed by the body shop and painted. It looked great. There was No bondo work, bumper and fender were from an 80. I drove it around for a long time without a bumper and red fJ80 fender lol. Front seats have covers, but need the leather fixed, mainly just the driver seat. It drives, corners and stops great. I have never had any issues. Would drive it across country in heart beat (just need someone to pay the gas bill lol)

His number is 336-971-8183 (located in Winston-Salem, NC) for any specifics. That’s my knowledge on it. I really wanted to get it back, but the Wife is not hearing the idea right now. College tuition is getting us for our kids! He is a great guy and I am just trying to help him get the information out. I have more experience with it, so I offered to give the information on it.
