No issues with the Kendas, they are just small on the 60 with the shackle reversal and liftWhy are you switching out? Kenda's not to your liking or just want bigger
About 4 inches of lift?No issues with the Kendas, they are just small on the 60 with the shackle reversal and lift
Atleast. The shackle reversal adds a few and i think its got lift springs too. Its an old procomp setup. Its up there, they had to notch the front crossmember to clear the drive shaftAbout 4 inches of lift?
Had one reach out before, but if that doesn't work out ill let you know.I have a client who wants the Kenda's, Patrick. I can get them at the Meet and Greet or Relic Run. Or maybe run up there one day, it's closer than Uwharrie.
Let me know what you would like me to do.
Hi Club,
The time has come to sell Bruce. I haven't been very active in recent years so many of you aren't familiar with my build, so...
1997 40th Anniversary FZJ80, ~300K miles:
There's body damage on the left side from smacking her into a tree a few years ago. Mechanical repairs were made to replace the radiator, fan and belts but I could never find a body shop that would take my money when I had the money to invest in her.
- Original engine mated to a Toyota H151F manual 5-speed by @GLTHFJ60 back around 2014
- John fabricated a custom cross member with integrated protection for the transmission and transfer case
- Custom sliders and rear bumper with swing-out tire & fuel carrier built by @NCFJ at HFS
- OME 2.5" lift
I recently replaced the damaged left fender, tail lights, headlights and had her almost completely put back together but then had to use the headlights for my wife's 80.
I know that the engine and drivetrain are solid and the truck drives great. I currently have the driver's seat out of the truck because I was trying to fix my wife's power seats and was checking the plastic gears to see if any were in better shape than hers (they weren't).
I don't really know what to ask for the truck, as-is. She's kind of an ugly unicorn... So, I'm going to say $15K OBO and let the market decide. I'm putting it here on the club market to give you folks first dibs and because I trust the long-time members to tell me if my pricing is absurd in either direction.

Dropping the club price to 10k. Even if they ended up parting her, the right person could make a tidy profit.Hey Folks,
I'm going to post Bruce in the Classifieds today. Listing at $15K but dropping the price for ONSC club members to $12K.
Thanks,
Mike - k4azy
If you can't find one, use a 2f block with the 3fe head. Slightly more displacement, and everything still bolts together.Anybody out there have a decent 3FE short block taking up space ? Firing up a stock build on FJ62 and this short block is toast. We have a head and bits, just need the block. Thanks in advance
Clint

Forgot I had this sitting under my deck for a couple years--spare from my fj60 with a wrangler 33x12.5x15 with not much tread and just minor surface rust on the factory rim. Tire still holds air.
Free to anyone who wants to pick it up in Raleigh.
