I might be able to use the backing plates and drums for my 40 rear e-brake conversion.

Loosing the transfer case e-brake and going splitvcase.

What say you @cruisermatt . Will these from a 62 work?

I am saving only the housing itself, my buddy wants to cut the center out of it and graft minitruck IFS rear axle tubes and shafts to it to make a centered 9.5.

Also have an FJ62 sway bar and end links in great shape. Also free if anyone wants it.

The front housing will probably be available at some point. But saving it just in case plans change now.

If you have a complete rear 62 sway bar do not give it away for free young one. They are $$ these days

yes sir - and we have new wheel cylinders, and whatever hardware you want to replace in stock to go with them

Whatchu mean by axle end tubes? Just the end of the housing with the 4 bolt flange for the backing plate?

My buddy needs the center, to where the tubes become Completely round. So just has to be outside that point.

Mines an 85, that would be great if you have one. Looks like this on the truck

85 came in both early and late configs as it's a crossover year, so the year by itself is insufficient. Didn't you just put a 80 steering box on your truck (without welding)? If you did, you have a late 85.

Yea, its a late model 85. Picture shows it, but the late 85's crossmember extends past the frame rails on each side, the early three piece designs mount to the wings on the inside of the frame rails.
