It’s outstanding, I have just started testing its capabilities, ate up the obstacle course amazingly well. 55 mile trip to Uwharrie o got 22.4 mpg, mostly going 60 or 45. Depends what you need in a daily, it can be a lot of fun.

Does it take premium or regular?

Stand Alone Vortec 5.3 computer, diagnostic module, and harness for sale
IMG_0891.jpeg
IMG_0892.jpeg
IMG_0893.jpeg

This harness and standalone computer came with a Turnkey aluminum 5.3 back in 2011. The engine developed a crack between cylinders 5 and 7 a year ago and was swapped out with an Iron block replacement. I was told that the harness was built by Howell Engine Development, and the standalone computer is not programmable. Included in the sale is a Techmate Pro diagnostic reader ($500 value).

(TechMate Pro marine diagnostic tool, marine code reader)

Asking $150 or best offer for all parts.

SOLD!

Next up on the garage clean out/up....

I'm beginning to work through tying up loose ends on the 45 for an eventual transfer to new ownership (yeah, I'm getting old-er).
I figure the desirability factor would probably go up a few points with a tall skinny tire on a stock rim with hubcap, sooo.......

I have five 35x12.50R17LT (Load Range D) BFG KM2 on Trail Ready Beadlock with 6-5.5 pattern for sale. Tires all measure around 16/32nds and have a date code of 4312. No rips, splits, or plugs. All wear is straight and true. Beadlocks are TR part number HD17 measuring 17x8.5 with 3.5 inch back spacing. Bolt pattern is 6-5.5. Beadlock rings have a few small scratches/rock rash, but not bad at all. (Trailready TR Beadlock HD17)

Asking $2000 or best offer for all 5. Located in the Charlotte area.

Second in line for the wheels.

Anyone have a full set of 80 series lancruiser (not lx) locks with a key? Daughter's lx drivers door lock threw a pin, and is inop.

May look at converting to the lc keyed set for her truck as an option.

Doors, ignition, hatch, and glovebox.

Would settle for a drivers side lock and key as a solution as well.

I may have a set soon. Mine is at the body shop for eval. I was already planning on them coming off anyway. Unless insurance totals it, they will be available. What is your timeframe?

My truck is located in Duncan, SC currently.

No front fender!
I need all 4 doors and the passenger rear quarter panel if you're going to have body parts.

Swap the DS tumbler for the PS. An old school locksmith, maybe even a new one, should be able to repair the bad tumbler.

Eastway Lock & Key has done this for me. They were able to look up the specs to restore a door lock, the ignition cylinder and cut a key (I gave them a blank), with no trouble at all.

I should have those here used but working condition. Drivers door tumbler was stiff but operational. Key fairly worn. Have a Fob too if it matters.

Not only did the furthest in pin or pins get jacked in it, one side of the c clip tabs broke too. The pins keep the key from going in all the way, and won't let you pull the assembly apart. It wasn't for lack of tryin, that's for sure

Ill talk to her and let you know. She's OK with using two keys if she has to, like the old GM keys. ;)

FREE STUFF!

Cleaning out the basement. To my knowledge everything works... and everything's free if you pick it up in Chapel Hill.

FJ Cruiser - 1 dusty but working JL Audio Stealthbox
FJ Cruiser - Nearly new OEM Airbox and intake parts, pulled off my long since sold 2014 when I installed TRD parts.
Tundra - Factory set of headlights off my 2015
70 Series grille off a 1996 73.
Aisan Carb off a 1978 FJ55. Worked, but can't claim it worked well, converted to a Sniper

More to come...

I’d like the carburetor. PM sent.

Anyone have an FJ60 front axle housing they'd part with? I'll take more but I really just need a housing and figured it would be the cheaper route.

I wanna put a 60 axle in my 40 and I already have everything but the housing. I'm going keyed mini truck knuckles, reusing the locked diff out of my 40, and reusing the long fields out of my 40 and ordered a new long side inner shaft to make them work in a 60 housing.

The parts purge continues... All for pickup in Chapel Hill.

Pair of new Hella H4 conversion 7" headlights and bulbs. $50
Pair of old but perfectly good RoundEyes 7" headlights: Free
ARB Portable Air Compressor (CKMP12). Never used: $200
Set of 4 dusty but otherwise flawless unused 15" Toyota steel Wheels and Hubcaps: $400
