Anyone have a set of drums (all 4) for an FJ40 laying around worth having turned for a buddy of mine?

He has a 72 but I think all drums were same.
Hit up McClure, he might have some extras lying around here in Summerville. I gave 2 away when I sold the 45...

1971 fj40 $8000
Comes with an extra disc brake axle
Roll cage
And a few other parts.
I have straightened out the fenders so they are not as bent.
40 is registered and in my name but just don’t have the time for it with a whole bunch of other projects I have going on right now. View attachment 2824332View attachment 2824333
Man, I want this thing... I'd need to sell my 80 to make room for it... Decisions.

Want to buy for 1996 LX450:

DS tail light
DS rear side marker lens
DS side mirror assembly (complete) - white if possible
John, there's a grey '97 at LKQ in Greenville. It looks mint; no idea why it's in a salvage yard.

I'm going down there to get a fender. Can I pick these up for you?

Russians in Greenville. What is this country coming to?

Well, with the comments that followed your post I guess you won't be going south. But if you do, yes. I'll take whatever they have from my list.

One of my buddies married a Russian girl from South Carolina a few years back. Apparently there is a huge population of Russians in SC according to her. More recently my co worker was dating a Russian girl from South Carolina and she said the same thing.

Fenders were okay. Body and glass mostly untouched. They sawzall'd the rust free frame and controll arms to pull engine and axle in one shot as I was walking up.

Anyone need a jack tool set? Only thing I could snag.

One pair of U-joints aka Spider Kit 04371-36011

Good for 3/69 thru 1/74 FJ40's and FJ55's

I got these from a vendor a few years ago... but they are too small for my 1979.

$120 OBO or swap for a set that will fit 10/74 thru 8/80 i.e. p/n 04371-36021 or its superseded part number 04371-60210

I have a set of used leaf springs, u-bolts, shackles and pins that came off my 79FJ40 while I was doing a complete restoration. They have been sandblasted and repainted with POR-15. Also have rear drum brakes (complete) taken off the same 79FJ40 as I installed a disc brake conversion. And I have the front windshield that I took out when doing the restoration project (it would be fine for a trail truck) Located in Winston-Salem….. Thanks Tom. (Including a picture of my finished 79FJ40)

Will the leaf springs fit a ‘73? If so I will take them. Pick up at Christmas party if I can get off work. Forgot to ask price. My project WTF is a cheap one, just like me.
