I'll take the front flaps
The side steps and front flaps sold yesterday. Sorry, Nick.

I just updated the post. Again, I apologize.

So my grandparents are looking for a new car , specifically an SUV, and believe it or not are looking at 200 series Landcruisers, used of course. I know nothing about 200s but I am certainly not opposed to them getting one. Anyone have any input on what to look for with them and what not? They had a 60 series back in the day briefly before they realized the MPG was less than stellar. This is one my grandma actually sent me, I couldn’t get a link but here’s the info I have:

Anyone in the market for a D90??

My cousin who for years has been flying to Florida and exporting Ferraris, muscle cars and other exotics has finally decided at my prodding to dip his feet in the water of sending cars back here... mostly will be Land Rovers and classic mini's.

His Dad and him have bought a house in Florida to store them at and are contemplating moving to FL to run their business for at least half of the year.

So this is the first one he will be doing to test the market.

"Here we have a full nut and bolt restoration of a 1991 Land Rover Defender 90.

It was originally purchased five years ago as a standard ‘91 Defender hard top and has been on the road in use for the past 2 years.

It was completely stripped and a new chassis purchased, which was then mordant T solution washed, and acid etched primed with 3 coats of primer and then four coats of gloss black paint.

Original axles were deemed unusable so they were swapped for a 300 TDI Discovery; these were then stripped back. All internals were renewed, including new CV's, bearings, and seals. Flanges on the front Axles were shot blasted, primed and painted. These axles were fitted with new brake discs and pads the callipers were stripped, cleaned, and re-built with stainless pistons and then painted in Ford orange. Axles were then fitted to the chassis with reconditioned suspension arms and a full set of orange poly bushes.

Original engine was stripped down and cleaned. The block was painted in Ford orange. New core plugs fitted and engine was given a thorough overhaul with all new seals and gaskets.

Also had a new cam belt at 108k miles. A new Borg and Beck heavy-duty clutch with heavy-duty release arm. Gearbox was taken to Ashcroft Transmissions and reconditioned along with transfer box. Flanges and handbrake drum were painted in Ford orange. The whole assembly was then fitted to the chassis via new heavy-duty engine mounting bushes.

Two new prop shafts were fitted with new UJ's. Bulkhead was stripped back of all wiring and components and then extensively repaired with new foot wells, bulkhead corners, vent panels, and rubbed back primed and painted in Ford Electric Orange. Bulkhead was then fitted to the rolling chassis and refitted with a reconditioned full wiring harness all associated components for wiring and dash were cleaned repaired and painted where necessary and then refitted.

The exhaust was designed to look like a series 1. It’s also got a stabilising steel rod to ensure that it doesn’t rattle within the fender. It’s a side exit exhaust.

A new break and clutch master cylinder were fitted to the pedal boxes that were then fitted to the bulkhead with new sealing gaskets. Heater box was fitted with a reconditioned heater matrix. Heater box was cleaned painted and fitted to bulkhead with new ducting seals to help with airflow. Dashboard was fitted with a LED lamp upgrade for bright gauges. Also a raptor dash console fitted with switches: a turbo boost gauge/oil pressure/and oil temp to keep an eye on all the engine. A Kenwood head unit was fitted that has built in sat nav and ipod connection. Brand new Masai tinted glass all around. Acoustic panelling has been fitted to the roof to reduce acoustic noise from the aluminium body. Brand new tyres and wheels. New alternator and water pump. Also, both front doors were replaced with brand new galvanised steel doors and then the doors were fitted with parachute handles.

Unfortunately, the receipts and original books have been misplaced for this vehicle, but full photographic documentation has been kept. You can find the full album of photos at:

Thanks for looking! "

Given all those rovers that were squashed a couple years ago because they had paperwork done improperly, or not done at all, id make darn sure that there werent any issues before importing and purchasing. just my $.02.

They were squashed because they were old vins/frames being put on newer defenders.

This is a 91 with an engine from 91... everything is Kosher.

Also I think the feds lost a huge lawsuit on that and had to return all the ones that weren't crushed and compensate for the ones that weren't. But I haven't followed that story in some time.

Would anyone be interested in a pearl white spoiler from a GX470? Spoiler is in VGC, no major flaws; 3rd brake light works fine, and includes pigtail to factory harness. Also includes the cover for the OEM 3rd brake light hole at the top of the door.

Thinking maybe $75, or beer.

no price is mentioned because it isn't here yet. He is most likely going to send to auction to test the market and if he does move here open an actual shop/store to sell them out of directly.

I posted here in case anyone is seriously interested in it and I can put them in contact to buy before it gets here and goes to auction. It should arrive on the 23rd.

long shot. Anyone have an FJ40 3 speed transfer top case with the short arm (that points at the frame)?
I have the wrong one for my linkage.

Also going to sell my trailer project. Was going to make a camping trailer but stalled out when the motor went in my 80 and have since just lost interest.

2wd Toyota bed and frame, both VERY solid. $350, Trailer has no title but it’s really not hard to get one for it. In the picture it has a camper shell on it that I can also sell with it for an additional $50
Also the trailer comes with an additional set of 15” wheels

Couldn't decide if this was "for sale" or "funny pics" but it's a bit of both.

Supposedly 425HP corvette powered Suzuki Samurai:

Because if you write it on the side in shiny letters, it's the truth...
