I've long thought a co-op would be awesome - people donate tools/equipment + membership dues toward equipment and upkeep, then members can work on their junk there; and people would be responsible for replenishing consumables. Always have x number of work areas open every day for very short-term pop-ins (like maybe 2); people who can't get their junk in due to all work areas being occupied could then be encouraged to help those in-progress to get their project done. Or someone could reserve a space via calendar for maximum x weeks, and at the end of that time their junk's gotta go, finished or not...

Members could also enhance the space by contributing their labor toward additional work types, such as constructing a paint booth or whatever.

I would also envision club members taking on under-the-table/off-the-books paid work and doing it there; a percentage of their fee would be designated to the co-op.

Would also be a great place for HAMOM's, fee-based training classes open to all, and other things that would benefit the co-op.

I suspect some would poo-poo the idea as it would step on toes of for-profit businesses; but I am more interested in building a welcoming, helpful community, providing service and education, rather than paying for someone's beach home or private fetish.

Carolina Cruiser Co-Op (by ONSC) is the name of it, btw. :) And yes, I am serious...

This all needs to be chat.........
But your hiring an employee right off the bat to manage, watch, assist so add $/yr. A very well worn idea here but will take just the right pit h as well as location.

I follow daves line of thought here

Not necessarily: technology to manage and monitor is cheap.

We have people with various schedules, and some retired (or getting close) who could also volunteer if a body is needed on-site.

Any decent 80s or 100s for sale in NC?

Howdy stranger. What are you looking for Mike?

Clean low mile good to go?

Needs some spit shine and baseline?

There are some 2-4000 k 80s

And some 4-7k 100s on CL now.

If you pester @Suburbanlegend enough he may sell you one needing work but looks like he's on a repair mission

Selling my 2012 Honda NC700X. It has about 15xxx miles and is in excellent shape. Wanting to get about $4000 out of it but would come down for an ONSC member.

I also have a 1999 Honda Rebel 250 that has a lot of custom work done to it, but NO TITLE. I'll sell it for $100. Its a pretty awesome little bike and worth WAY more than $100, but I don't have the time to go through the paperwork to get the title.

Looking for a stock height OME set-up on the LX450. Maybe someone wants to upgrade to 2.5" lift, etc.

Welcome any recommendations - going off the 80 Tech Section and other web input with the below unless I can find a like-new used set. Assume this is the way to go for a truck with no desire to lift a whole lot or add a lot of weight:

1 - OME 2861 Front Coil Springs (Pair)
2 - 60018 Front Nitrocharger Sport Shocks
1 - OME 2862 Rear Coil Springs (Pair)
2 - 60020 Rear Nitrocharger Sport Shocks
1 - OME SD24 Steering Damper

I have the J Springs for the front in exchange, if needed. I can also sell those springs for $130.

Jamie, I have a set of stock springs for sale off my parts truck as well as those wheels you asked about. I'm looking to do a lift on Cotton. The J springs would be perfect. Let's talk.

Sounds great, Dave.

I am also officially looking for manual front seats for anyone who may have. Glad to swap for electric/leather plus $$ in exchange.

That is a smoking deal on that LX if it is in decent shape.

Edit: even if not :)
