I had an acquaintance once tag along on a ride with us to Coppinger Cove - he had never gone offroad and had this brand new to him PreRunner. He didn't tell me until we got to the trail head that he was only 2WD, but it did have a rear locker. He did fine in most situations, with proper spotting.

Front diffs are so overrated.

Owww! Stage 7! Plus some other "epic" stuff!

"Godzilla has a Stage 7 conversion kit, so you can lock your center Diff in Hi range"

It's hidden behind that hideous "better than new, custom winter camouflage paint scheme".....

I think I just had a flashback...truck looks great under that nonsense of a paint job.

i keep waiting for C Thomas Howell, Patrick Swayze, and Jennifer Grey to jump up from behind yelling "WOLVERINES!!!!!!!!" and start shooting up russians and cubans

Public Service Announcement - STAY AWAY! This thing is a death trap! No roll bar!!!!!!!

EDIT: Good to know there's a very useful 'barefoot' emoji :barefoot: but no 'sarcasm' emoji that I could find. :bang:

Is that brake fluid red?

I think the period correct term is "Russkies".

While it should have a roll bar (added as standard in '74) there are many that don't have them. Many more likely have brake issues leading them to be potentially more lethal than a roll bar less truck.

The Toyota Dealer that came out to Logan's Run last year does (did), with favorable club pricing. I can't remember the name, they all sound alike to me.

I just send an E-mail to Onur, for all the reasons stated above. First off, if you can't put together a $100.00 parts order, go look at your truck, if you're like most of us it should not take more than 30 seconds to break $100.00. If not, just order extras. Onur flat out knows his business, he is fair and has always been straight up with me. All of that has value. The odds that the parts guy at the dealership around you will still be a parts guy in a few years, slim. We have specialty vehicles, they require specialty knowledge. Our parts are antiques for the most part.
