Wife wants it for her DD - usually she stops me from doing dumb things with Toyota's, so this is bad :)

DD? Be sure to tell her those KM2's are loud. @fj40z will trade them with you to put on his new ride. :D

I was "eyeing" them for my 4runner - - I get first dibs . . .

I'm not sold on this truck even for a lot less $$. Sure it is low miles, but I can let a collector pay for that. I'd rather be focused on $3-$10K with off-road as the focus.

EDIT:

Let me clarify - we have a couple paths here (ignore the details if this is too much, hehe):

Heather (wife) doesn't drive a lot, btw. She works from home for now.

1. Get a 100 as a family vehicle. Keep it stock, let wife DD it. I take the Prius V back/forth to work, we keep the 4Runner and the kids drive the Tacoma. Probably never "fix up" the 100 - use it as an alternative to the 4Runner for most trips/camping when off-road isn't key.
2. Get an 80, sell the 4Runner, stay with 3 cars. Wife would have to DD the 80 then because I still would take the Prius V to work.
3. Get the Nissan Leaf/older Corolla or Prius, wife keeps Prius V, we either keep the 4runner or go for an 80/100 that is built or we build for adventure, kids still have Tacoma.

Land Cruiser

PM me if you want to know about this one - - not much info, but interesting conversation.

No but id rock that !
Across street fro old house or id wander over now. Surely a typo. Those miles on the 3-UR wouldnt bother me

Silly marketing bumble. When you click to send me info it stsrts out hi i am interested in your 1998 land cruiser ....... But instead id like your sales marketing associates job

They have the wrong pic up - - its a 1998 LC via the Carfax.

The description under pic says 98 silver 4.7 too ;)

^^**Sigh**

Interesting that many of these 100s have Carfax that state they were used as commercial vehicles. This is another. Not sure if that is a bad thing or just a "meh" thing.

Cars.com

Anyone seen this?

My friend called about this one. Manager said he wouldn't sell it because it's eaten up with rust underneath. They took it in on trade, body and interior were super clean so they didn't check closely underneath. Said he's going to wholesale it and take it off the website.

Belongs to a good friend. Super clean.

There are no issues with the 80.

He wants it to go to a land cruiser person.

Saw it today - it is VERY nice. The owner has done everything to keep it in like-new shape to include replacing seat motors, fixing window motors, all new seat leather, etc. I doubt there is a nicer one out there unless its in a museum :)

Unfortunately, Heather was not comfortable driving it as a DD and frankly, we can't have it as a 4th vehicle at the current price or have it replace a 4Runner at the current price.

Anyone have an r134 ac compressor with clutch for an 80 series?

Auto Zone has it with 3 yr warranty if you buy the dryer and the expansion valve

Glad to see this feedback. My friend worked out a deal with the owner and is planning to pick up the truck Monday.

I bought a Denso compressor for $200 from rockauto.com and an expansion valve and dryer from eBay for $6 and $8. @fourtrax bought a compressor of eBay for $100.

yeah, but that was 8 years ago, it is still running great.

Lots of 100s were registered as work trucks because of the weight which allowed the tax write off. ;)

Tryin to find the value of a 4Runner I found that this guy is selling. 2001 sr5 2wd with 63k miles. Super clean and just had timing belt and water pump already replaced. Zero rust no accidents and second owner. Thanks in advance for the opinions.
