Are LS 124 and 122 Toyota codes? Whose codes are they?

No. The LS 124, and LS 122 are Spectramaster (Dupont) paint codes which are the closest match to an old bezel and one of my tops. The original Toyota Ivory Shell code was T302, but I could not find any shop that could work with this T302 code.
So this rig has never been repainted?

However, I'm going to get it painted because I don't want the rust to get any worse. I bought it in Tucson AZ, when I lived out there and now I live in KY and I'm afraid the humid, rainy wet weather will cause the rust to get worse. I bought it from the second owner who bought it in 1983, it has the original upholestry, AM radio floormats etc. The engine is all stock as well. The only thing that has been changed is the front bumper for the winch and I have the original bumper.
I'd rather keep it as is, but you are correct, if you want to save a nice original cruiser like yours, you'll need to clean up a few things, and paint her properly...underneath and inside out. Have you heard of fluidfilm?
I would pop the door panels and paint the inside of the doors with galvanizing paint coating then get the outside.
The shackles appear to be aftermarket but are easy to change back to original if you wanted.

I have not yet, but know some who have, and have read of others who have used in different applications, and I will be using some on my cars, trailer, and cruiser this fall.
Basically I was told to pressure wash the undercarriage, and spray fluid film on all over the metal to protect it. Maybe some else can chime in to give a better first hand account

Have you purchased a mix to test against a cruiser known to still have original paint?
Have you gone to a paint shop to see it their Dupot book had sample card for you to check against a top or bezel?
How did your code match up side by side with a clean older top? Any pictures?
