Tech question: Do y'all have any decent canned beer out there?

Don't know what qualifies as decent in your book, but Sierra Nevada Pale Ale comes in cans these days. You'll be in Northern California so we need to make you a wine drinker.

When you get in in Tuesday, please find me and introduce yourself. You and Alex will be competing for the Iron Butt award. Looking forward to meeting you.

If you like Sierra Nevada you can get Summerfest, Torpedo, Pale Ale and Old Chico in cans.

A chain of supermarkets called Safeway has a pretty good selection of GOOD beers in cans. It is an emerging market and growing very fast.

My current favorite is 21st Amendment Brewery, "Brew Free or Die" India Pale Ale. http://21st-amendment.com/

If you are coming through South Tahoe on highway 50 you can get it at Liras market in Meyers, CA.

skip the sierra nevada...they support anti ohv groups.

Thanks, I'll be coming up 99; I'll look for a Safeway to get groceries and see what they have.

60 owners drink wine?!?

I believe Bruce Shoff posted up offering to park a few rigs.

We're in contact. That's where I'm parking.

Anderson Valley Boont Amber and Pale Ale
Red Hook IPA and maybe others?
Sierra Nevada Torpedo comes in talls (not happy with Ige's revelation though) :( There's a FB page here:https://www.facebook.com/BoycottSierraNevadaBeer
Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
I'm not a huge fan of 21st amemdment BFoD, but it's not bad.

There's a BevMo in Folsom if you're coming from that side somehow.

It has been known to happen. Come park next to my 60 (it's the smurf blue one) and we'll get you started at Loon on Tuesday night.

I thought that was to get him to CA and then buy for the actual trip.

I don't know if this has been covered.

The closest supermarket to the turn off to Loon Lake from Hwy 50, is 9 miles west (on hwy 50) at the pollock Pines/Sly Park exit. The Safeway is 1/4 mile north of the freeway. There is also a service station and 2 auto parts stores at that exit.

Then the last-chance-gas is the Cheveron station in Fresh Pond (8 miles west of the exit to Loon Lake on hwy 50). L.B.

Traditionally, I like the Orangeboom talls from Trader Joe's. Lately though, seems like lots of the microbrews are canning. Fat Tire is one that's easy to find...We've got a few cans of Big Choice Brewery Disconnected Red.

No Silly. They insist upon the finely distilled and aged spirits of the Blue Agave poured from a proper glass bottle.

We like boxes..

I'll besitting right next to whomever is pouring at the Rubithon wine tasting event ;)

Probably not if you arrive after me... and I'll be in the Springs Monday.

Better bring your own handle of BV.
