Cruise Moab is fast approaching. I need to haul my gear down there. Got a Yakima Space Case but no clean way to mount it to my Frontrunner. I'm going full redneck; 2x4's & deck screws! Threw some black rattle can in there to hide it. You guys that got a head for clean detailing are gonna laugh at my rack attack!

Couldn't you just have similar inverted bolts come up into the cargo box, add a small plate, then nut ? Small plate copuld be made by just getting some 1/8" thick 2" wide aluminum strap at home depot/lowes, hacksaw off about 4-6", drill hole for bolt. = less weight, less height, less fuss, less wood ;)

I thought of that. Really. But the shape of the bottom of the Yaki box does not allow that type of mount.

Anyone know the difference between the URJ200 and VDJ200 models? Or are they one and the same?

VD is the Diesel engine version available over seas.

Upon having my tires installed we discovered I was missing the tool that lowers the spare tire down. The PO did not put it back...Guess it was better to find this out now. Any idea what one will cost? I plan to squeeze a 275 tire under there.

@Haggis the same thing happened to me from my LC's PO. I needed the whole toolkit that is stored in the tailgate. I bought mine from the dealership but perhaps @beno can help you here? I've attached my invoice and the parts listing so you can order only the parts you need.

Shouldn't be a squeeze. I nearly fit my 35 in that spot.

Jump on eBay and do a search... I've seen the tools there for $90 to include the jack.

Can't thank you guys enough.

I was just thinking of you Beno!

Looks like it may have been empty from the dealer according to this post Tailgate Storage

Some others found creative uses for it, however.

Thanks.

And ya...I've got a ton of doodads in mine. It's small, but surprisingly useful.
