Does anyone on here have a black lifted 200 with a roof rack in Catskills area of NY? Just passed a guy on 209...my husband was in front of me in his grey 100; I got a wave from you in my silver 100.

We just did Trails End up by Sundown. Not as interesting as it usually is because of how dry it's been.

Nice to see a modded 200 instead of all the 80s running around here...

Anybody mount a LED type light in this slot on both sides of the ARB bumper? Would have to be a small set, it might make a nice daytime driving light.

That space is there to use as a Hi-Lift jack point.

If you ever want to jack from there...better keep it open. :)

Thanks LOL. I should have been posted in the stupid question thread.

Nah... ;) It frankly doesn't LOOK much like a jack point...but that's what she be...

On the other hand...please feel free to ask stupid questions--because it makes those of us only capable of answering those Q's feel smart. You know... Helpin me wimpy self esteem and all that poop... Heh

That reminds me...I have a Hi-Lift jack still in the wrapper collecting dust in the garage. Man that thing is big and heavy! I bought it to throw in the back of the Tacoma for some hardcore offroading. The Slee sliders should also provide a strong jacking point once I order/install them.

top gear is on right now (history channel) and the guys are doing the rubicon trail - enjoy!

agreed but its the rubicon and i can watch it from my couch - winning!

Yet this trail is so close to home and I never been there.

"But a jack is supposed to go in there..."

"Not tonight, baby."

Completed the Land Cruiser durability product quality survey Toyota emailed me. You can always hope they listen or even better call you to test the new 300 series!

I did too. I'm pretty confident when they read my comments that they're just gonna think I'm an over zealous nut and ignore my rantings...

When we family camp, my wife takes the 200, the kids, and the bikes. She heads up to the mountains early in the day. I finish my work day, then follow her up, pulling the trailer. It's nothing fancy, and it's a basic campground, but it sure feels like a little slice of paradise and simple good times. I rolled the trailer out into the yard today. Gonna start gearing up.

BLIND SPOTS

What are you all doing for the mirrors and the blind spots? They are pretty substantial. Are you putting those little convex mirrors on there? That seems like my only and an easy solution. I just don't want to screw up anything, auto tint, etc etc.

Then on another note, about to put on the lift, and while i am a tire wiz with the 100 and 16" wheels, i'm still not sure what to go with for the 200, despite hanging around the tire/wheel/lift data base, which is helpful by the way... seems all would mostly fit. OME, medium with uca, 2" or do i want progressive spings.... ugh.

anyone want to go back over( and over, and over, and over this again? :) this kindergarten type concern is driving me crazy, don't want to make the wrong call
