Damn! That looks sweet. I love the look of canvas doors. Good job.

i'm sure you gotta story behind making these, how long did it take? run into any problems? smooth sailing?

the only problem was ...the lower weatherstripping channel had rotted off. I had to fabricate one from a metal cabinet. the lower channel is a very tight rectangular stock with a channel and bends on both ends... not easy.

very nice work! :) but isn't that(doors and safety straps) kinda like a belt with suspenders :D

reminded me that I have some OEM soft doors I need to finish.....but can't remember were I put them ;)

Post up some pictures of the reproduction lower channel. This is the most common problem and replacement item with OEM soft doors.

Very Nice Jonny.

I need to get working on my soft doors.

where are you located? ;) i can come up with lower channel...not stock by any meens but it's functional and you can't tell unless you are 6 inches away.:)
Keep this valuable data stored, I'm sure I'm not the only one facing this task down the road... very nice!

Any leads on strap material btw? I've got nothing- no hooks, hardware, strap, nothing...

I remember dad had some of those straps that hook to the big eye bolt. Ours was a factory soft top. Blue in color.
Nice job. Now lose that W sticker on the fender.
