Put in for time off .so, guess I'm in.

I'll be there barring something catastrophic does not happen.

who has the pics???

bummed I couldn't make it, I even managed to get the weekend off if work, making it my only one this month. But the cooling fan on the 80 is dead so instead I grabbed a contour fan from the junk yard and took the wifey out to make her happy.

Here are some of the ones on my phone

It's easy to find , but the road is only open three months out of the year . You can hike from parking lot .

They open it up for people to pick the blueberries . Someone told me they close it the first snow . So that would be today .

Call the pisgah ranger station. I am pretty sure its open til January. They close the parkway whenever there is snow.

I'm also wanting to go back up for a day with the family.

Chris. It's a beautiful spot but if you value the clearcoat and paint highly on the new rig it may prove to be disappointing. Just a heads up. Not sure if your fine Dedicating new rig yet or not. Most will buff out but it's a fat pig on a tight trail scenario

X2. Most will buff out, but not all… I was irritated, but my wife told me that my shiny paint job needed to be "manned up" a bit.
