Coolerman, a copy sent to absr@comcast.net would be greatly appreciated.

And thanks for the useful info on your website! I kept waiting to see if this sheet would show up there...maybe I'm not seeing it?

Another good place to try is BoltDepot.com I am using a lot of their stuff - all stainless, except the places I need the hardened bolts.

Cheers.

Quick update. My JIS order arrived but was missing M6. Only had 8&10's. My supplier says he screwed up and did not realize the guy he ordered from said he did not have 6's. Sounds like bs to me, but any how he is having to source the 6's from another mftr. So I wait. :( But since I found the a crack in my block, unfortunately I have more time than I thought I did. Seems to be the way it goes on these cruiser restos.

Bummer about your block! :frown:

Let me know when you get this all straight and I'll be first in line for an order! ;) (If you are still interested in doing this?)

Been slacking on mine lately, out of town a lot and under the weather a bit...

Well, the good news is that several Mudders have stepped up and offered me blocks so I will hopefully have something to take to the machine shop soon. I talked to my bolt supplier today and he confirmed that he found the M6 we need and ordered them today. He said they should be in by mid next week. Then all will go to the platers. I will take some pre pics to post. I think he had to order qtys of 500 on the M6 so there may be extra now, but will confirm that later. If not getting more will not be a problem now that we have the sources worked out. I just hope they look close to the Cruiser, of course w/out numbers on them, but still much better than DIN stuff on a Cruiser.

I have noted in the fiche that bolts are listed by diameter, pitch and then, it appears by length. This is where I have a question.

For instance, the split transfer case bolts are listed as 10-1.25Px40-30.
Certainly the 10 is mm diameter, 1.25P is the pitch but what does the 40-30 indicate? Is it length opf threaded portion then unthreaded portion? Or length of bolt then with the length of threaded portion? (This seems most likely.)

And here is another bolt followup question. I have discovered looking through the fische that, although several fasteners are listed by part number, those part numbers are not listed in the fische. It seems this is becasue they are not specific to application but can be used through out the assembly of the vehicle.

Examples are 90119-08353 and 91611-60610. I can find neither of these in the section of fische that lists by part number.

Suggestions?

I agree that the 40-30 indicates 40 mm of length total with 30 mm of threads and 10 shoulder.
