Dropped the frame off at the powdercoater this afternoon. @wngrog let me borrow his trailer. Thanks dude!

Was snooping around, and spotted a 4-dr 40 at the PC'ers. Anyone know who this belongs to? @wngrog pointed out that it's not the same one we saw White Rhino building.

It looks like an Aqualu tub

It was nicer in person. It was a semi matte finish; probably 10-20% gloss.

Are you using Metal Refinishers off of Boling St? They always have the body of something awesome in there.

I am.

Dude has a PRISTINE T-Bird in there.

Yeah we need to recruit whoever that 4d 40 belongs to!

Look what came back from the powdercoater today! Thanks to @wngrog for the use of your trailer.

Oil pan. Got 26 other parts powdercoated and picked up today.

Oh, and the first batch of cadmium came back today too; it was a banner day for my build.

I think it would be fun to all guess a completion date: down to decals, seatbelts and see who is closest.

No; raw cad. That's what they'd be originally.

Yeah, that's right. Media blasting gives the part a dull matte finish after cad goes on. Polished parts would be more iridescent.
