Talk to dealer just ordered it. Little cheaper on line but worth it to order from local dealer.

Luckily I get 20% off all my parts through my toyota. Cost me like 75 bucks for all 3

I think I am at about 90 bucks for both back up and license lamp. Not great but will put in my stash...till paint time in 2050 seem like

So nice just to stash away...

One more reason this place is awesome...thanks Npulver. For the numbers...

Anybody else have any cool body parts that they have NOS numbers for?

Well after taking the rocker off one last time. It is on for good. Bolted the doors up and everything lines up as I want. Problem with adjusting the rocker is the amount I trimmed off the B pillar was to much when I dropped it to where it needed to be. So i had to do a little patching. Getting a better hang on the welder which helps a ton.

After the patching. I welded it up and took a grinder to it to smooth things out. Have a few spots to touch up, but atleast you can see how I'm finishing it off.

After hearing that fj40 turn signals are the same besides the bases which are swappable. So i went ahead and order 2 new turn signals from toyota. 50 bucks a pop with no shipping for those curious ($40 my cost). So i tore apart one lamp today to see what I'll be getting into swapping the base.

There's the break down.

I'll have OE numbers when they come in as well as a side by side comparison.

Looks right. problem for me was the shiny new housing doesn't look good with the old base. I tried three or four different color spray cans and never found a good match. I wound up painting the bases black.

This is also something that I'll be working on. See how many colors I go through before I give up lol.

Got the new turn signals in, took some pictures of old versus new side by side. Also took a side profile to show to comparison of the bases (which will be swapped.)

Not sure why the pictures got turned all weird, tried to fix it but it went back.

Instead of swapping bases, can you just machine the 40 base down to get it to sit level on the 55 fender?

I tried to cut mine down, but the bases are made different, other than just the angle. The locating pin is in a different spot, which you could cut off. Somebody with skills could make it work.
