So, I have looked around, drained the transmission and transfer case. Does anyone have any pics or can just point me in the direction where to fill the transfer case and the 3 speed transmission on a 72 FJ40. So far, only option I see is removing the breather and pumping it in there. Please help.

I see they each hold 1.8 qts for my model of 90wt. Just do not know where to put it in. Thanks to anyone that can point the way for me.

Transmission-

Driver side of transmission housing is the fill plug.

Transfer case-

Fill plug is on the back side, below the cone PTO cover.

Both should be 17mm hex.

Yours was as well.

At a minimum a Hanes manual should be procured. If the owner intends on keeping and maintaining the Land Cruiser, a Factory Chassis and Body manual along with the engine manual are solid investments.
