I think the cam turns 1 time for every two rotations of the crank....but still that would be 325 revolutions and 325 times the pump would go up and down it one minute. so doubtful you would see much other than a small pulsation. Disclaimer...i have not done this in a long time and really can't say for sure.

did you idle the vehicle or have someone bumping the key?

Ok good... it was running at idle around 700rpms and there were small pulsations. Just wanted to rule out getting a new pump. Thanks

You would likely hear the pump knocking if it was bad and it wouldn’t pump anything. I’ve never experienced s failure there but many others have. If you’re getting fuel pumped into the carb things are working properly most likely. I maintain the thought that you left residue from the dip and it’s reacting with the fuel and brass bits.

Yes...you are correct regarding left residue. I will update after ultrasonic cleaning with water. Thanks guys

But how did you pump green fuel out of the fuel pump? The fuel line was disconnected from the carb right? do you think the green migrated back into the fuel line? Have you been able to pump clean fuel from the line? I mean if you pump a bit more out?

Well...I put all parts in the Ultrasonic Cleaner with water and clean off with Carb Cleaner and blew every thing out with air. Even ultrasonic cleaned bolts. Also I changed out some vacuum hoses with silicone. He is purring thus far after I followed OTRAMM You Tube video regarding 2F Aisan Carb...Setting Idle Mixture. I will go out tomorrow and see if Osiris cranks. I have to do a slight adjustment to the float since the fuel is showing but a little below than half of sight window.

Update guys...she fired up using @OSS Sequence of starting it from a cold start. I will continue to start it io every day and report back. Also , after I changed my fan clutch....temp is holding steady. I was having temp spike issues.

Ok, update...so I used @OSS starting method for 2 days and it worked and fired up. I tried his method today and it tried to start/stubbled, then after the stubbled it wouldnt start. I noticed today there was no fuel in the window and shaked the truck but to no avail...no fuel appeared after attempts of starting. When it did started on Sat & Sun, I noticed the fuel window was below half way in the fuel window. With that, I took the airhorn off and blew where the fuel line connects to diagnose the needle valve and it was working. Since fuel level was below sight window i knew I needed to adjust float. Since I made sure to get all chemicals off in my ultrasonic cleaner (water), I know all previous chem dip was remove and sparyed down with Carb Cleaner and blew out with compress air. Remember this was the theory as to why I had all that green gunk on my needle valve (and screen) main needles, etc. Well, I did seem see some more green residue...I dont know what this stuff is. Below is a pic from my NEW Keyster kit I just put on last sat (Jan 30th) and notice the green stuff. Any thoughts, suggestions after cleaning carb. Should i drop my tank. Btw, original replaced tank recall August 1996, per Toyota recall line.

If it is contaminated...can you please explain what contaminations in the gas could cause it to turn or have a reaction to the carb in this way? I will drain it and inspect, blow and replaced fuel lines.

Sheet in your fuel. Who knows what's in it. Water. Dead mice. Joe Biden's marbles. Sugar from disgruntled significant other ---

Drop tank, clean or have cleaned and checked (radiator shop), flush and blow out all fuel lines with carb cleaner, compressed air, then cleaner again.

This awesome ethanol gas likes to attract moisture but i am sure you already know that. I would do as recommended above at this point.

No i didnt know that. The Powermaxx fuel System Cleaner (Made in Germany) that I added weeks ago claims to help with moisture. I will drop the tank and report back my findings. Thanks guys

Is powermaxx a stabilizer? At this point I guess you have to go thru it all. I cannot imagine extra water in the gas causing all that brass to turn green that fast. That normally takes years. Something is reacting with it, like pissing on new copper or pouring Coke on it! Snowing like crazy here today, but let me know if I can help out sometime over PM?

Its a fuel cleaning system. As seen above, the gas is greenish. I dont see any deposits in my fuel filter. I will drop the tank to see whats in there since it will give me a piece of mind. Im glad this stuff isnt sticking. I sure let you...much appreciate it.

So I took my carb apart planning to rejet since it seemed to be running really rich. I had black spooge running down the front of the engine and out the tailpipe. When I checked the plug it was pitch black and very oily. So I decided rejetting was the best option. I have only had this bike for 2 ...

Yes...it was sitting close to a year. Wow...that was a great article @g-man...thank you and all referencing to the fuel. The same green and how it affected the brass in my carb. I hope the weather turns here so i can drop the take. I will spray bolt Knocker Loose on their so hopefully the bolts come off easy.
