I also currently have TJM skid plates but I’ll probably put them on a friends truck and build my own. These are a bit thin for my liking.

Replaced the rubber handles on my Slee bumper. I found them at essentra plastics. Cost about $8 shipped.

Installed spider Trac wheel spacers from Slee and smashed the pinch weld. No rubbing at full lock but I haven’t tested while articulated.

So, the TJM skids are off and I’m building a new set out of 3/16” plate. Using an Eastwood versa 40 plasma cutter and Hobart 190 mig. I used the TJM for a rough template. There’s lots more to come.

I’m attempting to design/build a drop down fridge slide. Mostly so my wife will stop rolling her eyes when I tell her how awesome the fridge is even though she can’t reach inside it!

unfortunately I didn’t get many of the process. Pretty simple build though. The tough part was figuring the clearance from the body so it doesn’t contact when impacted.

Front skid is coming along nicely. There is a removable panel to allow access to the oil filter. I’m thinking of adding mesh in the holes to avoid smaller sticks from wedging up in the belts and hoses.

Another thing I like about your build. The DIY in you. If you don't have a way to bend 1/8" steel plate...........you weld it together. Way to go !
