that first troopie has tooo much bling for me! I like plain, simple and stock.....with a bit of bumper extras... IMOP of course

Im kind of in agreeance but it is the company's advertising blimp.

They are not far from me so when I get some time Ill see if I can get some more info on the steering.

I first saw it parked in the pub car park 2 weeks ago where they have barmaids with minimalist type clothing.
It was attracting more attention than the gals inside:D

I gotta go against the group here...I hate that ugly thing. Looks WAY too much like a Land Rover Discovery to me.

Is it even a troopy? Looks to short...more like a 4 door 70 series.

To each their own.

The OTT steering arms are very difficult to fit even if you can talk OTT into making you a pair. I bought them for an 80 series front axle that I am putting in my FJ55. You would have to go spring under because there isn't enough rise in the steering arms to clear the springs when they are on top of the axle. The only downside is that you can't go sprung under if you have the E-locker, unless you out board the springs. All in all if you want to use an 80 axle, just link it and be done.

Ryan.

I got some more pics of this from another site showing the side flaps closed:D

once you see it all closed up it doesn't look much different than the rolling "ARB ads" running the roads here in Canada or the States.
looks clean, i still like it, i think it would make a cool "trades rig" easy access to your tools inside, lots of room...
thanks for posting

Of course,is hard to go past its practicality. I have seen a couple of young ones in that back seat so it would be handy for cleaning icecram of grubby faces ect:D.
Even a 73/74 can be a pain to unload the gear that stored behind the seats and too far away from the rear doors

I also see the flaps as escape hatches for rear passengers in the event of an accident.

THere is also a dual cab version getting around owned by a shop fitter. It has a half tray on the rear with a single lift up flat.
It was rusting away last time I saw it.
