Did the 75 series Troopies ever come with center consoles? If they did, were they the same as other 70 series of similar vintage? I am going to get rid of the 60/40 bench and will be installing bucket seats. Thanks!

I know that the floor pan is different on the 75 series due to the fuel tank being underneath the seating area.

I can't answer your question about if they ever came with a console, but I think people have used one from the other 70 series. A tuffy 6.5" fits, and there are some fridge consoles out there that fit.

Yeah, I'll look for a standard 70 console. The Tuffy might need some trimming to clear the parking brake.

On mine that floor area is pretty much dead flat so any console with a flat bottom of adequate width would work. The problem is lots of consoles have a rear "step" on the bottom that would mess that up. I also converted mine to stock Toyota buckets and there is plenty of width there even taking the parking brake into consideration. If you need photos or measurements I can get them. Unless you really need a lot of storage space there I would just buy a narrower console and not go through all the cut and weld complication.

Post a pic. A stock console is what I'll look for.

Here ya go.

Can it fit in a flat rate box? Don't need the heater controller.

I have your Sprinter sticker and an envelope ready to go. Just need to drop it off. My free time sucks nowadays.
