Hello...just want to intro myself as a 72FJ40 newbie...I see there is alot of expertise here....just got it today and will begin work on it soon....I will update with pix...thanks...

Welcome. Make sure to do some research in the Technical links and the Frequently Asked Question section (FAQ) before firing off a bunch of questions. Some here, including myself, don't like newbies that expect to get spoonfed information. You gotta get your hands dirty and learn for yourself. This site is excellent for asking questions when you get to a crossroad in your restoration or want to get someones opinion on something. Welcome to the addiction.

thanks for the info...didn't mean to sound like I was trying feed off of others...I am actually doing most of the work myself...sorry if I offended...btw, RUSH rules...

Welcome to the addiction!

You have nothing to apologize for. Colorado Boy was just trying to ensure that you don't get flamed and then discouraged from asking other questions. A little time spent looking at the FAQs and wading through searchs will answer most of your questions and save you some harassment. Never be afraid to ask a question when you're stumped. Just be sure to spell things out clearly. Also, make sure your bezel is on right before posting any pics.

Again, welcome!

Don't let him turn you off, these forums are full of information and the search is your best friend. Sometimes you just can't find what you need or don't understand the technical advice that is given. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There are a few assholes here that forget what it is like when you get your first cruiser. Take a hint ?

Welcome to Mud. Post some pics ASAP.

Nice looking rig and welcome.

Welcome and nice looking rig. Now, say good bye to all your money. But it is fun.

Nice rig! Welcome!

Mine used to have the exhaust pipe exiting at the same location as yours. Man that sucker was stinky. I moved it to the side behind the rear wheel, and said goodbye to the fumes. Keep that in mind, if you start feeling woozy.

Looks great. welcome. Have fun with the project. Keep us posted.

Welcome to MUD and happy building. Just open you wallet wide and say ahhhh!

Congrats, looks good. Just remember, cruisers can sure be a big expense and that tends to cause problems with a persons wife. Just keep your priorities straight and remember. There are alot more divorce attorneys than there are cruisers!!!! And if you play your cards right, you might even get child support for your cruiser. :grinpimp:
