I just bought a '72 a few weeks back and I'm having a great time
with it. The closer I look at it, the more problems I find...clearly
this is going to be a long, challenging, and fun project!

Welcome. Make sure to do some research in the Technical links and the Frequently Asked Question section (FAQ) before firing off a bunch of questions. Some here, including myself, don't like newbies that expect to get spoonfed information. You gotta get your hands dirty and learn for yourself. This site is excellent for asking questions when you get to a crossroad in your restoration or want to get someones opinion on something. Welcome to the addiction.
