Also got a Fj40 metal land cruiser bonet emblem bolted to the front grill, will post pict of later.

Absolutely fantastic! Congratulations on a job very well done. Probably one of the most comfortable seating
arrangements in a 60 in the world. So what city can we see this driving around in?

Test driven before final paint finish gave me goose bumps, consumed 4.5 liter of engine oil within 500km run, compression leak was quite bad. Planing to replace piston, rings, Also need valves set, valve guide set, stem seal set any recommendations where I can get the above parts? Couldn't find any eBay source except piston and rings.

Started to remove engine out

Awesome that you build as planned, try to find pistons with alfin inserts as they are better / upgraded.
I have not needed them for my hj but preparing when I need to, wait for more info.
But if you say it was fine (the video) maybe you are now burning the turbo oil cooler? so oil for cooling is burned by turbo?
The engine cant go from good to bad in a day?

Requested quote from Precision for piston, rings, head gasket, engine main seal, Cod rod bearings etc waiting for reply

from what i calculated from Precision website looks like will cross 1000 AUD with shipping, i can get a 12HT from UAE landing at my door for 2000 USD, so checking on that options to. btw is my H55F a direct bolt on with 12HT? What are the things i need to look into getting the 12HT engine? please throw some light, my LC is 86 model so what about gear box H55F matting to 12HT?

The 2H and 12HT share the same input shaft as far as I know so it shouldn't be an issue. IMO you are way further ahead to get a 12HT, good luck. Truck looks fantastic!
