Very True. I did the rebuild kit from $or about a year and a half ago; and I don't recommend it. The accel boot tore a little over two months ago, and the plunger was a tight fit.
The tech man at jt outfitters mentioned the flange was a "standard" design, and it does look very similar to the maf one.

I might go as far as to cut it to match the maf one, if anyone can confirm a two flange seals better than a single
