The PAtriot trays with qwater, kitchen, etc that go on the back are around 12 - $28k, and the #supertourers use our slinky long travel suspension set ups. Patriot SuperTourer - Patriot Campers

These guys use Creative extended 200s, and treat them very hard [1:25 on for the car wheels in the air stuff etc].

Sorry for the hijack, but 200 porn, really.

I'm in the process. Rears done. Rebound at 4, compression at 6.
Collecting a few more parts for the front end.
Front end preload will be dropped to 10mm.

Is it difficult to adjust the comp/rebound while on the vehicle , also how is the resi attatached to the frame in the rear , are there threaded holes that the bracket attaches to? Thanx

You're ahead of me. I'm going to do an installation write up. BUT
The adjust to rear just crawl under the truck. takes about 5 minutes.
Hardest part I holding the shock body from rotating. All mounting is done with pre existing, pre tapped holes in the frame.

Anyone else installed them ? Any suggestions regarding preload adjustments as well as damping adjustment ?

I installed using the recommended settings for fully-laden trucks (winchbars, bumpers, etc). So far

Pics coming soon.

Really looking forward to pics and further reviews , also install suggestions or even write up ! Problems encountered during install as well as adjusting preload if needed, fj forum member stating very difficult or impossible to increase preload while it is on vehicle .

I'm installing the front BP51 and the SPC UCAs on Wednesday. Rears were pretty straight forward.
Any suggestions on setting up the UCAs before installation to get alignment close?
ARB/OME recommends 10 mm Preload with no armor. Looking at @dkw3 which appear to be lowered from the factory 20mm to 10 mm, his truck still seems to sit extremely high. Wondering what other's measurements are center hub to fender with the suggested preloads

Dropped off the struts to have the pre load adjusted. My mechanic said his machine could not work on the BP51. Any suggestions. ?

Not 100% sure but if u r decreasing preload u may b able to do it w/out the compressing the springs , saw something on the FJ Cruiser forum where Fjkodiac did his but he wasn't very specific bout it. Also per arb tech line they have that compressor (spring) for like $53.

I don't really understand why they r so difficult to adjust, as they appear to b like all the other threaded body coilovers! Most of them don't require compressing to adjust preload up or down .some are difficult to adjust due to not being able to get spanners or to the Allen head bolt when they r mounted due to either control arm or the strut mounting bucket.

ARB compressor spring?? Tell me more

Sits the recommended spring compressor I forgot the part # but I think it's listed on the announcement page when they released it or contact ur vendor or ARB USA tech support .

A Google search of that number shows nothing, just mentioned in BP51 press release.
Called Slee. He said to try and put the shocks in upside down.
I'll let you know

Ok for those that installed rear shocks if u have those rock or stone guards to protect the shock shafts it was recommended by some Aussie fj owners to put thread locking compound on the bolts that secures them to the shocks .

when looking at the higher end of shocks, maintenance/care/rebuild/etc are always talked about as being part of the process, will these be along the same lines as a king/icon/etc? Any idea on what intervals are used to determine when maint is due? (obviously it will vary, but didn't know)

God, I hope longer than those others.
