Some pics for now. I still don't have any of installed product. We have shipped them all off and the owner sold the one he had on his FJ. They look like oem when installed, just all white.

This is what it looks like on the inside of the cab side. We know guys who are rhino lining it but you can paint it, install a headliner, or just leave it as is.

Ordered one today after speaking with r0adki111 I will let you all know how it goes once I get it. This was about the same price it was going to cost me for a new gutter and to refinish the old roof I have so I hope it is as good as it sounds. I had just purchased a old roof which was in good shape just no gutter that I was going to fix up so if anyone lives in the St louis area and needs the fiberglass I will make you a deal just give me a shout. I also have split hood and pre 74 door that are in fairly good shape that I need to get rid off.

Hey r0adk. I live in CDA and would love to came take a look. I'm not in need of a new roof, but could be the eyes for some of the folks here on mud that do.

Awesome! We have a guy coming over tomorrow (friday) at 10 am to take a look as well. Give me a call and we can all meet up at the shop. 808 372 7240

For the cost for me to repair rain gutter and repaint it seems I could buy one of these hardtops.

Is the white a Bright White or close to the original Cygnus White?

Of course there is shipping! and I'm on wrong side of the country.

Don't forget about us East of the Mississippi...

Or not. As I recall the cap is about 60" wide.

We just hired on more help, will be making another mold, and moving production to a new larger facility. This unfortunately incurred more costs on our end and the price point has to change to $450. We believe this is still a very reasonable price for the quality of product that will be produced. As of right now the first available shipment date for the next one will be Feb 8th (friday). If you would like to arrange your own shipping that is ok, or if you need a quote, just let me know.

I will be working on a permanent website tomorrow so we can get away from ebay.

Given the nature of fiberglass, I'm sure you could add a section to the back of a 40 roof to make it match the length of a troopy (that is if you can't find one locally).

Best of luck on your ventures, and we all look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

I think $450 is still very fair price. I will probably get one eventually to replace the top which a PO put a sunroof into.

What have the shipping quotes been like?

Shipping has been ranging from 140ish to 240ish so far. Haven't shipped everywhere though. It also depends on whether you have it shipped to business, residence, or pick it up at the shippers terminal.

Dimensions: 48x72x96 60-70lbs

I could sleep in a box 48 x 72 x 96, even cook in there. Must be a typo.

No typo. Basically we are standing it up on a 48x60 pallet. So it is standing 96" tall. The only reason it's 48" wide is because of the pallet itself. The length is the width of the top. I believe it is 5 1/2 feet wide plus packaging. They are charging more if we lay it down flat being it takes up more floor space.

At $690 ($450 + $240 shipping) I might be better off repairing the cap I have. :meh:

I looked up a Lexington zip (not sure if you're close to there) and I got about $190 to their dock and you would have to pick it up from the shipper's terminal. I would imagine it's about $190 to most anywhere in KY from here. Not great but a little lower than $240 for ya.
