There are a lot of moose here in Alaska... 1000 lb animal vs land crusher.... I would really like to see the land crusher win.... or at least not lose. I like the look of the wings. But the bar needs to at least be above the main focal point of the lens... that would be the best of both worlds higher bar but not pulling a road armor/mad max look to it.. I sent a PM about some questions I have.. This looks awesome though keep it up

I like the bar below the lights, low profile with light tabs and able to hang winch cable/recovery straps off of. Kind of like this discontinued EBC bumper. I would also like the thicker recovery points. Are you going to T-slot in some high lift points somewhere too? Nice designs, i think your going to need hoop options to please the masses though. Maybe the "country hoop" and "urban hoop" lol.

It would be full bull bar, but I think the crusher with medium stinger and winch protection would be sick...

Sorry not full bull bar

If it is an expo type bumper, make it full-size, coming over the lights and almost hood height for rad protection. While overkill for most and it is going to be big and heavy. Your other bumper can fill the slot of light and nimble. If I was an out on a long unsupported adventure away from populated areas, I would want the bumper that if I ever had to use it (accident, animal, swerve, etc) it would provide the maximum protection to my truck and vials. those being headlights, radiator, trans cooler, winch etc.

I recently had to swerve to avoid hitting a stray dog. I was in town doing maybe 25-30mph. I hit one of those large metal lamp posts that have a square cast metal base. They appear to break away and are quite flimsy, but even with the Slee, I had substantial damage to the hood, and the front of the bumper and winch were pushed in enough to make them unusable.

Kind of curious if you have any pics!

Ok now were getting some where my dudes. Thats why I like an open forum to discuss product development in.

I'm building a proto type today with the full size bull bars.... we'll see whats what then. It would be nice to see someone be the test bunny but its not needed. stay tuned.

Oh and the bull ba will be made of the same sized material my stingers are 1 1/4" schedule 40... .250 thick.

If I had some extra money right now I would volunteer in a heartbeat! After the first of the year I would be in a much better position.

As far as suggestions, how about something like this? More protection around the lights without obscuring them. Also, I agree with more beef in front of the winch...

I like this. Definitely need to clear the headlights. Shadow and reflection back to the driver are all in consideration.

If my bull bar arrives looking like this I would be supremely satisfied.

While I'm not a fan of the ARB, I think it has the best looking design and lines when it comes to a full bullbar and it actually compliments the truck. It real easy to make a bullbar look bad. Like this thing here is about the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Has the cattle gate look. My opinion of course, and you know what they say about those :)

Reminds me of that 40 series bumper... looks like a cattle gate... not pretty but probably effective.

We need style and functionality... In walked Jason with grinder in hand. He had this look about him, a look of determination. One could tell he wasnt leaving till he had what he was after... their money.

Like this? :flush:

1 1/4" sch40 is NOT .250" wall, its about half of that claim....
ya ... .forgot the 1... .1250".... Booger knows all bow before him. :flipoff2: And why is it you reply to this and not the others where I asked you a question???

All I have to say is whatever bar you put I think should be almost to the lip of the hood. For me a bumper is useless if it cannot protect you from a deer strike at Highway speeds. ARB bumpers I have had on past trucks have saved my radiators on several occasion. This means driving away on my own power without a tow. Those of you who do not deal with deer strikes on a regular basis may not care so much about protection above the main section of the bumper, but its vital in my neck of the woods. Looking good though.
