If there was an easy way to have all of the illumination swapped to LED, I’d do it in a heartbeat.

Oh man I bet that looks great!Haha, definitely not easy... I just finished changing all my interior lights to ice blue and it involved a lot of soldering (gauge cluster, door handles, steering wheel, etc.)
@binaryaudax can you confirm if the non-nav are actually replaceable, or are they soldered, too?
I have climate control for 2006-2009, but for now it's in reserve for another guy.@ZIDCONPRO do you have climate control available with wire harness for a 2007 model? 88650-60773
If anyone else might have a set I am very interested ready to buy
at the moment I have several sets of climate control units with harness and side brackets, I will throw the photo here later. climate control numbers by month and year of release at the moment88650-60770

I am doing the same exact thing. You need the JBL if you have the ML amp. Pioneer is for non-ML.I'm leaning towards doing a non-nav conversion with the newish Joying Android unit that has the physical volume knob: Joying 2004-2009 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 9 Inch Android 10.0 Car Stereo Built-In Bluetooth - https://www.joyingauto.com/joying-latest-toyota-land-cruiser-prado-9-inch-android-8-1-0-car-stereo-with-built-in-dsp.html
When ordering, it asks to select if you have a JBL amp or Pioneer amp. Does anyone know which option I should select w/ an ML amp? I believe it's the Pioneer option, but I thought I'd double check.
Also, any recommended options for backup cams? And anyone know if the TPMS option is worth it? I assume it's required to read the tire pressures from the unit?
Wow, thanks for the reply. You answered pretty much all the questions I had. Going to pull the trigger this weekend.I am doing the same exact thing. You need the JBL if you have the ML amp. Pioneer is for non-ML.
Joying makes their own backup cam that actually works very well! Go to the GXOR - GX Off-road group on Facebook and a guy just installed this head unit and camera combo and it works great. Joying New waterproof 8 LED Night Version Reverse Camera - https://www.joyingauto.com/accessories/reverse-camera.html
TPMS is not worth it. It’s just little caps you screw onto your tire valves and it sends the data to your head unit. Tire Pressure Monitoring System For Joying Android Car Stereo - https://www.joyingauto.com/accessories/tpms.html
The options I got are max memory for the head unit, backup cam, dash cam, and OBDII wireless adapter so I can monitor the engine temps and such on the head unit with an app.
No problem! I’ve done a lot of research so feel free to ask any questions. If you’re on FB let me know and we can message there easier if you want.Wow, thanks for the reply. You answered pretty much all the questions I had. Going to pull the trigger this weekend.
I had a Prado 120 with an OEM Pioneer amplifier, and I installed an Android Joying-type radio in it, then I made a conversion to a GX470 navi into a non-navi and installed the same radio in a GX470 with an amplifier by Mark Levinson and the sound was also excellent. so I can say that the adapter/canbus for the Pioneer OEM amplifier is also suitable for the Mark Levinson OEM amplifier.I'm leaning towards doing a non-nav conversion with the newish Joying Android unit that has the physical volume knob: Joying 2004-2009 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 9 Inch Android 10.0 Car Stereo Built-In Bluetooth - https://www.joyingauto.com/joying-latest-toyota-land-cruiser-prado-9-inch-android-8-1-0-car-stereo-with-built-in-dsp.html

Yeah I've been following all the Joying posts on the FB group as well. I believe I saw yours as well (assuming you're a Blake P there too). I'll definitely hit you up there when I get to the install if that's easier for you.No problem! I’ve done a lot of research so feel free to ask any questions. Oh when mounting the head unit you have to unclip the screen from the chassis and reposition it. No big deal but let me know when you get to that step and I’ll provide pictures and a better explanation. It won’t fit right unless you do this.
I was actually leaning towards the Teyes CC3 until Joying released their model with the physical volume knob. That was what swung me to the Joying.I had a Prado 120 with an OEM Pioneer amplifier, and I installed an Android Joying-type radio in it, then I made a conversion to a GX470 navi into a non-navi and installed the same radio in a GX470 with an amplifier by Mark Levinson and the sound was also excellent. so I can say that the adapter/canbus for the Pioneer OEM amplifier is also suitable for the Mark Levinson OEM amplifier.
I also installed a TEYES radio in the GX470 with Mark Levinson when I bought it, I noted that I have a Pioneer AMP. The Sound Is Great!
Haven’t seen this info posted anywhere on this forum n i thought you would be the person to ask. Do you know if an Australian prado climate control unit will work on an 09 Gx. Part number is 88650-60612. Guy said it worked on his 06 gx. Also how does one order the harness from you for the conversion. Thanks im new to gxor scene.88650-60770

The climate control unit you need for the conversion isn’t a single part #. It’s a collection of parts. The part # you find in this guide and others for the conversion is the # that’s stamped on a specific piece of the entire hvac assembly. If you only receive that part, though, you’ll be disappointed.Haven’t seen this info posted anywhere on this forum n i thought you would be the person to ask. I don't think Joying has a Nav-version (could be wrong), but there are many similar Android tablet style options with Car Play and Android Auto support for Nav setups as well. The downside is they still won't have fully physical HVAC controls (some functions will have to be done with the screen, similar to stock Nav).Just scored an 04 470 w the terrible Nav option. Does this Joying setup work on both Nav and non Nav trucks?
