Awesome - thank you.

From an old @beno post:

90430-10074 for the high pressure gaskets.

90401-10015 for the high pressure fittings.

Full OEM front/rear caliper + lines rebuild part numbers:

47730-60061 Caliper right (qty 2)
47750-60061 Caliper left (qty 2)
90947-02A16 Flex hose left/right (qty 4 for each corner?)
04479-60020 Front caliper overhaul kit (qty 1 does both sides?)
47731-60010 Caliper piston front (qty 4?)
04479-60030 Rear caliper overhaul kit (qty 1 does both sides?)
47731-60020 Caliper piston rear (qty 2?)
90430-10074 High pressure gaskets (qty ?)
90401-10015 High pressure fittings (qty ?)

Missing anything other parts #s for an OEM rebuild?

I fixed this for you. Please keep in mind this is for an FZJ80, not an FJ80. An FJ80 uses different front calipers and had rear drum brakes.

47730-60061 Front Caliper right (qty 1)
47750-60061 Front Caliper left (qty 1)

04479-60020 Front caliper overhaul kit (qty 1 does both sides)
47731-60010 Caliper piston front (qty 4 per caliper=total 8)

47730-60110 Rear caliper right (qty 1)
47750-60110 Rear caliper left (qty 1)
90947-02614 Rear flex hose right (qty 1)
90947-02615 Rear flex hose left (qty 1)
04479-60030 Rear caliper overhaul kit (qty 1 does both sides)
47731-60020 Caliper piston rear (qty 1 per caliper=total 2)

90430-10074 High pressure gaskets/copper crush washers (qty 2 per banjo fitting/total 8)
90401-10015 High pressure fittings/copper banjo bolts (qty 1 per caliper=total 4)

Caliper part number is correct if you want to do new OEM. They are stupid pricey.

I recommend the following for all 8/1992 trucks and later.

47730-60060-84
47750-60060-84

These are remanufactured with $20 core charge each. Sometimes they will run out and they won’t have any cores available to remanufacture, so they will throw a new OEM caliper in there.

Rear brake soft lines at the caliper:

90947-02615
90947-02614

These are side-specific. The fronts are not and use the part number above.

Rear calipers:

47730-60070-84
47750-60070-84

All of the calipers use the same pressure fitting and the gaskets for the fitting.

Rear caliper bolts at shorter than the front.

Oh who's the man. Those reman calipers are just the ticket.

I have the set of calipers I took OFF of my truck. I have no idea what the PO had installed or if they are the original Toyota Calipers.

How can I look at a set of used calipers to determine if they are, indeed TOYOTA calipers, for my truck?

I want to rebuild the actual Toyota ones, but if they are some aftermarket version, I will just buy something else.

Just went to pick up my Remans from Napa. No bueno. The rubber seals were buggered up and the retaining ring came off as I was looking at them. Only 1 data point....

Bummer. I put the Eclipse on my truck about 2 years ago and at that time, I thought they were really nice parts. I haven't had any issues with mine in 15,000 miles and I still have excellent braking. NAPA must have taken their eye off the ball or switched suppliers. Honestly, at the time, they did seem almost too good to be true. I wonder if they were losing money on them and didn't realize it right away or something.

Looks like it will be Mr. T stuff in the future if this doesn't get straightened out.

I put on Napa Eclipse in the rear about 3 months ago. They looked good to my eye but haven't had enough use yet to say whether they are working well. I will be doing a lot of work over the next two months so will open them up and see how they are looking and post feedback in this thread. I did use Toyota copper gaskets, banjo bolts, rotors, and pads but the calipers were re-man from Napa.

Take a look at the stamping on the calipers. Do they look like the picture Onur posted?

This is my experience as well, except it’s been 3 years and 42k miles. No issues and after replacing the MC, deleting the lspv and adding powerstop rotors/pads up front, my 80 stops as good as it ever has since I’ve owned it. I was told by Napa when I bought them that they were re-man’d OEs. Core charge was pretty steep IIRC.

Yeah, that's why I don't have the cores. They paid more than I was expecting for them and I had to do it to keep the budget in check as I was spending money like a wildman as I baselined my rig.

Would it be worth making a formal complaint to NAPA? Maybe they don't know this is going on. Maybe they are getting ripped off by a supplier and don't know it? In my experience, after Mr. T parts, obviously, I have had much better experiences with NAPA vs. most of the other nationwide brick and mortar suppliers for retail parts. They are the only "real" store in my area. Most of the other stores are just a bunch of sprays, oils, cheap tools, air fresheners, etc. NAPA sells all kinds of stuff that fits on these trucks that other places don't sell.

I mean, at some point Toyota is going to cut back on parts availability for these trucks and flushing what was a decent alternative to OEM down the toilet after what seems to be a recent trend has a downside. It would be better if they could get this sorted out rather than getting doomed out of the business by our community.

You know that no one cares, right? Not Toyota or any aftermarket suppliers. None of them care about Land Cruisers. Trust me on this.

Why would they bother with making the calipers for them using their "top of the line" stuff? They aren't doing it out of the kindness of their heart, that is for sure.

I did NAPA all the away around couple of months ago. My Originals has sever pitting inside making me think the piston was never going to ride smooth. I personally believe you should always try to rebuild before replacing.

I was also surprised on the core return price.

Boots on the Napa Eclipse looked good and seemed to be in good shape. Once i got the ABS to actuate they've been working just fine so far.

I fixed this for you. Please keep in mind this is for an FZJ80, not an FJ80. An FJ80 uses different front calipers and had rear drum brakes.

For convenience, here is the OEM part #s list with reman calipers.

Full OEM front/rear REMAN calipers + lines rebuild part numbers (FZJ80):

47730-60060-84 Front reman caliper right (qty 1)
47750-60060-84 Front reman caliper left (qty 1)
90947-02A16 Front Flex hose left/right (qty 2)
04479-60020 Front caliper overhaul kit (qty 1 does both sides)
47731-60010 Caliper piston front (qty 4 per caliper=total 8)

47730-60070-84 Rear reman caliper right (qty 1)
47750-60070-84 Rear reman caliper left (qty 1)
90947-02614 Rear flex hose right? (qty 1)
90947-02615 Rear flex hose left? (qty 1)
04479-60030 Rear caliper overhaul kit (qty 1 does both sides)
47731-60020 Caliper piston rear (qty 1 per caliper=total 2)

90430-10074 High pressure gaskets/copper crush washers (qty 2 per banjo fitting/total 8)
90401-10015 High pressure fittings/copper banjo bolts (qty 1 per caliper=total 4)

When I price this out, it looks to be a little shy of $1K with CA sunshine tax (less $160 core charge refunded all four corners).
