I don't think the one I have is available any longer. Mine was the "Long Beach".

If you search on their website, they have one that is similar looking. Looks like the price has gone up significantly since 2022. It's $100 more.

I made my own faceplate because I'm a dork like that.

As to how do I like it? I've had some really nice stereos. This is one of the worst I've owned. The menus are like going through the parameters of a VFD. Sound quality is okay. The tunability of it is not great. But it fits in the hole, and there isn't many options for that.

Holes can stretch 😉

A concept I'm completely unfamiliar with. 🤣

Just don't use an angry beaver whilst stretching that hole.
But if the hole IS the angry beaver?

I got a retro radio from someone on instagram. Looked fancy and somewhat period correct.

$170. It’s literally $25 Chinese junk radio on Amazon he forced to just green color and painted Or got black. Terrible sounds, terrible menu awful Bluetooth. I’ve seen similar complaints with retro sound. I feel a lot of the retro radios are the same.

Custom Audio - https://customautosoundmfg.com/

I have no idea if this company is any better but it’s another option.

Another option is finding a bad oem radio and having someone put in Bluetooth if you really want to go through the radio.

This is not the answer my wallet wanted.

I spent a decent amount of time in some recently and I definitely understand the hype.

But damn one seat is more than I paid for my 40.

I want to get an 80 worth putting a set in. My current 80 is too much of a turd.

It'd be the equivalent of donking a 84 Delta 88 that's rusted way TF out

The set I was able to experience was in a very nice 80

My 40 is far from worthy of the seats. However I can’t find anything I like that I feel like will be functional on a bigger trip.

Also I can’t walk out and buy a set tomorrow so maybe I’m just dreaming

Well.... 2 years ago after spending a week bouncing around in Colorado, I was less sore than I was getting out of the Ford driving out.

I’m looking forward to seeing what people think of my BMW seats at SAS in August. Everyone that’s sat in them thinks they’re great, but none of them are 40 people.

The only downside I’m seeing to them is that driving across the country in them I’m thinking I don’t have much wiggle room, they’re much more supportive and heavily bolstered than what I’m used to. No room to slide around and really change positions, but they are 12 way electric.

Those Scheel-Mann have got to be without comparison top tier.

FWIW on seats…

I just put a pair of BMW seats in the 62 ($150 for both off CL) and they are astounding. I put ProCar 90’s in the 40 because it was cheaper than recovering the OE seats and it’s a night and day difference.
