These two were on their way to be crushed this weekend. Not to worry, they have been spared. Beyond some surface rust, the 75 is almost rot free. I am going to bring it back to its glory.

Good for you.

Good job on saving those - they certainly look forlorn!

Awwww, you washed away the patina!!!!

Good lookin cruisers!

I like that second one, though someone obviously doesn't understand shackle length and how it can affect steering geometry!

What WERE you thinking on the diamond plate one? The humane thing would be to crush it.

The other one looks clean(ish) though.

The white one has more than few valuable parts. I have already sold the cowl. The rear floor is going in another 74. The spare tire carrier looks good. The gauges and dash knobs look pretty good. Both the front and rear axles have some value, too. I can def use the shakles and leafs. I just couldn't see these items off to the crusher. I was their only hope of getting recycled to another cruiser. If the frame looks good, it will be stored away. I am sure the hood, fenders, bib and apron can be re used on someone's 40. There is good glass in the hardtop. More pics to come.

I am glad they got spared, no matter how big of projects they are, I've seen worse also brought back.

good score, the one with the redneck shackles looks pretty damn clean!

I would possibly be interested the rear axle. Just a thought if you still have it...

I always like the look of lichen growing on a cruiser ;)

Thanks for making me feel better for my new rust project.
